Heading into the pharmacy and hearing the familiar voice of your brother, Richie and his friends, you wandered over to the next aisle to say hi.
"Well look who it is," Richie began rolling his eyes playfully. "I thought mom grounded you."
" I snuck out stupid, what are youse doing here anyway?" You asked.
"Theres some kid outside. He's all cut up or some shit." Eddie piped in.
"Oo jeez," you winced. "Everything good with you Stan?"
Your question took him by surprise. "Uh.. yeah, yep everything's fine." He replied.
"Thats good." You smiled. "They ever find your brother Bill?"
He shook his head pitifully.
"That's a shame, well I'll keep looking." You responded out of sympathy.
"Th..tha..thanks." He answered not taking his eyes off of you.
Remembering what you were there for you said your goodbyes and swiftly made your way to the makeup section. The other night you had accidentally spilt your nail polish, hence the reason you were grounded. Looking at the price you scrunched up your face.
"Jeepers $8 for nail polish, i think I'll pass." You murmured.
Leaving the store you heard a familiar voice call your name. Turning around it was Bill.
"Y/N y- you dropped yo-your br-brac-bracelet." You always noticed how his stutter was worse around you.
A smile crept onto your face. "Im not wearing any jewellery Bill."
"Oh ye-yeah, w-well heres th-that na-nail poli-polish you wa-wanted." He stuttered, handing you over a Y/F/C bottle.
"Oh, wow, um thanks a lot." You said sweetly, gazing into his eyes.
"An-anytime." Bill said trying to hide the fact he was blushing.
You turned the corner and began to walk home not knowing Richie had heard your whole conversation. He teased Bill for the rest of the day.
"Wow Bill has someone got the hots for my sister." He laughed.
"Sh-shut up Ri-Richie." Bill replied embarrassed that Richie had heard his lame attempt to impress his sister.
