"The new guard really, really irritates me," sounds of pencil scribbling against paper is heard as he continued," comes in a few weeks ago, no experience and still is in a higher position than me." Mathew closed his journal showing a cover art of "Glam Rock Freddy" that he received with employee of the month weeks back. Putting his journal away in his duffle bag he grabs the security monitor and adjusts it to see better; Today was a big day for there was a huge party planned, not just any normal party they throw everyday. Everyone was told about a special birthday party that was planned and was expected to fill the property to the limit that was allowed without ignoring the safety protocol. The screen flashes 7:30am and shows the front entrance with tons of kids and adults alike pouring into the ticket booths to pay their entrance fees. He watches closely to be sure no one is sneaking in or trying to bring prohibited items; outside food and drinks, knives, guns. Mathew sighs and stretches back in his chair staring up at the ceiling thinking to himself,"Another long day, but it's worth the pay."

A few minutes pass by checking camera feeds and drinking some de-labeled energy drinks; His walkie talkie chirps twice to signal for someone to pick up for an emergency. " Yeah this is Mathew, what's good?" The other end is quiet for a minute and Mathew sets his walkie down in frustration. Going back to the monitor he spots some movement in the basement but ignores it thinking it's nothing. The other end of the walkie picked up and it was that of an older man,"Hey Matt, sorry for the radio silence, I had a kid who scraped his knee and had to give him a bandage." Mathew picked up, answering," Oh no worries, what was the issue?" he paused as he scanned his monitor,"you did ping twice didn't you?" "No that was me, sorry just saw some movement down in the endo storage," a female voice stated before being interrupted Mathew bursted out,"I knew i saw something!" He switched back over to the basement view looking at the only entrance and exit to the endo storage section staring intently as if he would spot someone.

"Listen, as head of security I would usually go down and check it out, but I was given direct order to watch over the party," she said as background noise of children laughing and screaming could be heard. Mathew, yearning to get a break out of his office, jumped at the chance and said,"No problem Vanessa, I can check it out for you." All he got in response was radio silence,"must have gotten busy," Mathew thought to himself as he grabbed his maglight and one of the two "security pass level 3" cards and started making his way over. Some time had passed and he made it to the endo storage entrance; looking down at his watch he sees its now about 1pm and he pings the radio and asks,"Hey so, is anyone positioned in the endo units security room right now, maybe that could've been what we saw?" He hears nothing so he starts reaching for the button to open the entrance as he hears Vanessa's voice start talking,"No one is assigned to that spot today, everyone is up here," sounds of computers speaking and machinery working in the background can be heard. "Listen I am a bit busy right now in Parts and Services, Freddy Malfunctioned on stage, until specified no one is to take him out of low power mode!"

"Sure thing Boss, those things scare me anyways, I don't really want to be in endo storage myself." he said slightly nervous as he slowly walked through the entrance turning on his maglight. Nothing but radio silence coming through; Mathew saying,"Guess it's just me and these endos, what can go wrong?" he asked with a nervous chuckle. As he walks for about ten minutes at a sloth's pace scanning with his light back and forth checking little hiding spots as he approaches the next door. He presses the button to open it and falls back screaming as he comes face to face with an unpowered endo. Staring up at it he realizes it's powered off and stands up catching his breath. "Damn endos, why can't we just keep them unbuilt until we need them," he pauses as he sees movement and focuses his flashlight. After a few minutes of silence he started to quietly approach to try and get the surprise of any intruders. As he turns the corner he sees nothing and hears the whirring of an animatronic behind him; as Mathew turns around frantically he sees the same endo right in front of him holding a metal pipe.

He wakes up with his head pounding, in a locker, unable to move very well from being dizzy and with a major headache. Looking at his clock he sees its 4am and forces himself to get out of the locker. Finding himself outside of the endo storage he looks around and sees a kid going through a door into a maintenance hall. "Hey kid, what are you doing back here!" he said, stumbling over slowly to try and prevent himself from falling. He reaches for his head to rub his pain and feels something wet and warm; bringing his hand back down he sees blood and clenches his fist."First aid, I need to get to first aid," He whispers while stumbling around seeing all the obstacles that were seemingly placed to keep someone in. "What the hell is up with all of this, now I need to take the long way around." Fighting to hold back tears in the pain we starts making his way around to first aid. When he gets there he sighs in relief to have not passed out and bled to death before anyone could find him. As he patched himself up he glanced at his watch and saw it switch from 5am, to 6am. "No way it took me 2 hours to get here, that's crazy!" He shouted as he stood up to make his way to the door.

As Mathew tried to open the door he heard the creaking and crackling of metal beams when they were starting to reach the point of melting. He looked behind him to see what it was and a metal beam holding up the roof fell down on top of him pinning him to the ground; breaking his rib cage and collar bone in the process. "Help, please someone, Help!" Mathew screamed and screamed as best he could, but know one was around to hear him. He watched as the hole left from where the beam was originally grew with more and more flames; like flowers on a hill. Please someone, anyone!" A final plea for help cried out from Mathew as tears fell down his face; evaporating as they touched the hot beam that was burning his chest up. He stared up at the flames watching its hungry growth slowly start to consume the roof of the first aid room. Mathew moments away from death, closed his eyes thinking of his family, his little brother, his fiance, his parents. He opened his eyes once more even if for the last time, and saw the flames approaching him; and accepting his death and willing to move on he held his hand out to the flame, guiding it and letting its hungry teeth bare into him as he cried and screamed in pain. It lasted for almost two minutes of pain as the flesh melted his flesh from his bones, then as his last cry released he felt that pain no longer as his body gave in and passed on.
