Marcie's POV

I was unpacking my flute for the last time...after being in this school for a total of 12 years...next year is my last, I thought to myself   "Hey Marcie?..you ok?" I turned my head to see Sam "Sammy" I said in a child like tone "I don't wanna go" I said going up to her and   wrap my arms around her whining"I know but I promise I will see you next year" Sam then let go of me and walked to the band director

June 3rd 2023/time:12:50/ End of 11th grade/bus stop
"Hey Marcie where's Jackson?" I turn around knowing that rude voice anywhere, Kylie is a very stereotypical rude girl you have ever met, she has that long beautiful hair like a goddess and the eyes the ocean, and very pretty and very popular because of her ever lasting beauty and long straight golden hair
"I don't know." I say and start to walk away, before she grabs my wrist and looked me dead in the eye
"Don't fucking ignore me you know where he is!" She screams in my face, well fuck. She has me by the wrist and is trying to make me spit out where her boyfriend is "Ow- let go of me" she then smirked and tightened her grip "I said LET GO OF ME" and she kept holding on, until she saw Jackson and ran to him..she then mumbled something I couldn't hear and he came running towards me "shit." I said and he punched me

He pushed me down and stopped on my stomach and I could hear people screaming about it (oh gosh this can't be happening right now) I look around (yep it is..fuck) "GET UP MARS" I hear but I can't see who it is, my eyes are burning (probably from the sight of my ex) "get your foot off me" I say "what did you say bitch" well fuck now I can't out of this "MARS GET UP I SWEAR YOU HAVE TO FIGHT FOR YOURSELF" before I could get up he got on top of me and started punching me..fuck moms not gonna be happy "FUCKING STOP JACKSON YOUR HURTING HER" I hear before I black out

"Sam she will wake-" I sit up in pain "ow fuck" I say and look at the Nurse, Principal, and Sam "ah- Ms Marie how nice to see you awake your mom will be here soon to see you and talk to me and then you get to go" The bald man says and walks out of the nurses room "oh my gosh Mars.." I look at Sam and she goes to hug me (ouch) I wince in pain and Sam let's go "sorry" I nod at her to reassure her that it's ok, I look my arms and legs to see bruises and bit of..dried blood? What happened to me "what happened" I say and the nurse looks at me with a scared expression "um... so Kylie told Jackson that you punched her and so then her got pissed and you couldn't get Jackson off of you and while we weren't looking Kylie had coffee and...." the nurse stopped and I zoned out

Flashback
"Marcie is so good to see you" I look at Kylie in my boyfriends house "hey babe who was-" I look a Jackson with just shorts on "we.are.done" I say and I walk out his doorway I couldn't believe it he cheated.

As I was driving home lot of fire trucks passed me, I called my mom, no answer and so I called again, straight to voicemail "shit mom fucking pick up" I called again "pick up,pick up,pick up" it went to voicemail "shit! Mom ANSWER" I started to speed home, the house was on fire. I get out of the car "Miss this is a private area please leave" a officer tried to push me into my car "get your hands off me I fucking live here" I pushed him off me "s-sorry miss" I look around and see my mom "mom!" I scream and run over to her and hug her "hey kiddo don't worry it's all ok" I look around "w-where's Gizmo" my mom looks around "fuck" she mumbles I then ran full sprint into my burning house "GIZMO" I scream and hear people screaming at me to get out "GIZMO COME HERE GIRL" I look around for my cat "GIZMO" I look and see her sitting in the kitchen, I grab him and carry her out the house, my body was burnt from my legs to a bit of my neck and arms "come on sweetie" Gizmo was completely fine just a little hurt with a toy in her mouth and her favorite blanket in my hand "MARCIE ANNA-COLE MARIE" my mom screams and I walk with Gizmo "sorry but I h-had to" I say coughing "oh my gosh honey are you ok?!"
"Yeah I'm fine mom" I say with a smile
End of flashback

I look up to see my mom "fuck" I mumble "let's go" she says and I hug Sam to say goodbye.

My mom and I walk out to her car "you wanna explain that black eye and burn mark on your face" she says and I touch my face "burn mark.." I touch my face and feel a slight pain, I full down the mirror in the car "WHAT THE FUCK" I scream "what's wrong-" she looked at me as I'm sobbing "did they not tell you?" I shake my head "oh fuck no." My mom get out of the car and comes to my door to open it "let's go." She grabs my wrist and pulls me back into the school "WHY THE FUCK WAS THIS NOT TALKED ABOUT" my mom pulled up the hair over my eye that I had used to cover up the burn mark "woah.." I hear Sam say and she runs to hug me "w-well" the nurse starts to explain "Kylie poured hot coffee on her face.." the nurse said quickly while playing with her thumbs "I'm sorry WHAT?! WHILE I WAS BEING PULLED AWAY FOR STICKING UP FOR MY BEST FRIEND YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?!" Sam scream and rubs my back to make me stop crying "my daughter was out in danger by that boy and girl and you let that happen?!" My mom screams "it's just" my mom then interrupts her "ITS JUST WHAT COME ON MARCIE" my mom then pulls my out if Sam's grip and I wave at her and she waves back at me before walking out

What a rough day

Adam's POV
June 3rd 2023/time:12:30/11th grade/chemistry class
I look at my friend talking to my ex..what a dick "Hey Adam you got a pencil?" I look over at my friend "uh yeah here you go" I pass him a pencil
"Uh hey Max" I look over at him "What's up" he says "I think I might...stay home all summer- you know with my dad always at work and my mom busy I-"
Max puts his hand on my shoulder "it's fine bro but I'm gonna go find out your ex chicks body count" he smiled at me and got up (this bitch did not just say that) I sigh and pull out my phone and look on social media, just boys with there girlfriend's...I look at Julie and sigh "I was almost like that" I mumble and close my phone

RINGGGGGGG

"Ok class have a good rest of your day and enjoy your time on summer break" I look at the teacher but I won't remember what his face looks like it will always be a blur...like all these kids around me

All the chattering around me gave me a headache, I slip in my headphones and put my head down watching for feet so I won't run into anyone (schools over finely I can't stand it here anymore) I walk down the steps of the school building I look around at all the people chatting, getting picked up by there parents and I imagine how nice that would be.

I walk past all the people and start to walk home, ever since Josie broke up with me for no reason I lost all my friends. They all ask me what her body count is and I know it's zero, no boy has ever gotten that close with her because she then ruins their whole life, that's why I was so careful and now people see me as a loser

"Mom I'm home" I say as I walk threw the door
BARK BARK. I hear and I look at my dog pixel "hey buddy what's up!" I pet his head and go look for my mom "mom?" I say "oh hey kiddo" I look over at my mother her smile sweet "I'm just about to go out I won't be long there's some food in the fridge if you want some!" She says and walks out the back door to her car "ok-" I say and walk to my room.

I set down my bag and go onto my computer "hey what's up guys!" I say turning on my headset mic, but no one answers.

What a harsh day.
