Ughh.. is this what it feels like to be hungover? literally the worst part of being an adult by far and i have zero medications to help ease it out in the slightest. Today was Saturday at least and i have been mustering up the courage to meet every single one of my neighbors so i had John go door to door for me and invited everyone to come around 1pm to just enjoy each-others company. See, i would go do it myself but my gracious i could not pull myself off my bed for the life of me! "You know we can reschedule hun, we had a long night... maybe we can wait another week and put it off fo-" I stopped john in his tracks there is no way this hangover is going to get the best of me, i really want to make a good impression in this town, not be know as the girl who flakes last minute. "Do you know what these people would say if I did that? They'd chew me up and think I'm so unreliable. Ill shower right now with some warm water no worries, if i have to force myself to be presentable i would" I murmur all groggy while sitting up and picking some clothes. John is just having a field day with me as he cannot stop laughing at how I'm speaking and forcing myself to continue with the day, i swear this man is just something else. I decided today to keep it as simple as i could with wardrobe and splattered on a blue dress and heels. Hmm, maybe i should have chosen a yellow color scheme as it does seem more inviting, but i am not one to shy away from bold looks, so im content with how every single thing is turning out. I was about almost done with setting up until i noticed john picking out his outfit and let me tell you, he knows nothing about color schemes because why do i see this man choose a red top and red shoes when he should at least match with my colors a little bit. Before starting the function i gracefully help john color coordinate his apparel and we both head outside with our lemonades and wait for the guests. After about 20 minutes of us jittering with nervousness, the guests finally showed! We escorted everyone inside and had them make themselves a home. We had a area in the kitchen with a selection of many wines, a cheese board and foods all over the counters and tables, and i turned on the radio for a more relaxing time.
