                                                                      Darkness

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Endless darkness as long and far as the eye could see. Then light. It was glorious. Pure and kind, the perfect contrast to evil and corruption of the shadows. But both are everlasting. They are the Yin and the Yang, the perfect balance between the forces of good and the forces of evil. They were creation and destruction, but even the universe itself obeys someone. That someone is God.

God was everything and nothing, he was creation and destruction. He was omnipotent in every possible way. He was perfect. But even beings as powerful as God tend to get bored. So one day, God was trying to discover more about himself when he discovered new powers within him. The power to give life and the power to give death. He was astonished. He was omnipotent, he was the Lord of the Cosmos, he was God! How could he not know something!? He was almost certain that he knew everything. But then again if one thing was withheld from him how many more could be? He paused for a minute deep in thought. But in his youth his brashness took the better of him and he shrugged it off.

It took many decades of countless training and practice before he could fully master all of his powers. He mastered his powers over creation and destruction to the point where he could destroy multiverses and rebuild them to the point of not even breaking a sweat. But his powers over life and death were still a bit sound so he decided to split himself into 2 pieces and have one work on building the universe. His other half took half of his powers, strength, stamina, and endurance. God's other half took to the other end of the Cosmos to practice powers over life and death he created animals such as baers, leons, bolls, goats, rams, skorpons, and fish. He had his powers over life mostly locked down but still had struggles with death. Everytime he unnaturally killed something, many white dots filled the sky with heat and light. He called them stars and the patterns formed konstallors.

On the other side of the Cosmos the original part of God started to work. He floated around in a meditative stance envisioning tiny spheres of stone. In his mind's eye he saw gray spheres form out of the fabric of reality. He called the substance stone He envisioned those stone spheres colliding together and fusing to form one singular sphere. This was the tough part, when he fused them together there were lacerations across the stone. Marks if you will, and this angered God. He was perfect and therefore everything he made should be perfect. With a quick draw of power he made the marks disappear one by one till they resembled a perfect sphere. Satisfied God moved on to his next phase. He opened his eyes and using his will formed a ball of pure heat in his hand. This time however God unknowingly put too much power in this tiny ball. This tiny ball was so hot it burned reality itself. For the first time in his life God felt pain. As God is a part of everything when something gets damaged so does he. Frightened for his world God hurled the little ball so far away the pressure of going that fast extinguished the ball. . . . so he thought. Hidden from his overseeing gaze a mere ember remained. Destined to burn away forever.

Shook, God steeled himself and continued on his work. With extra caution God created a ball of plasma that held only a fraction of what the previous plasma ball had. Hot enough to provide heat but not hot enough to harm him or any of his creations. With the ball in hand he made his sphere of stone split and hollow in the middle. He moved his plasma ball in there and smoothly closed the sphere on itself making it smooth once more. But if you looked close enough you could see the faint whistle glow near the center of the sphere.

For one year both God and his other half slaved away. Working tirelessly one practiced controlling and mastering their powers and the other perfecting this sphere which would inevitably be called his home. Using mixtures of things called A-toms and his stone he made a loose mixture called dirt. He completely buried his stone sphere in this dirt. But that didn't stop there, God made many types of dirt as well as stone by combining the both of them. He made items called sand and gravel, as well as marble, and quartz. Together he used both of them to build up his world. He used his stone to make the mightiest of mountains to the smallest of hills. He made the grandest deserts and the smallest beaches. It was the equilibrium of these elements that allowed God to build his perfect world, but one thing was missing, life.

Summoning his other aspect, he conjoined into one. With a surge of power, all of his old abilities returned to him, along with newfound knowledge on how to master his control over life and death. In that eternal moment, he harnessed his powers with precision and purpose. For the first time in his immortal existence, he drew a deliberate, strong breath, in a seemingly effortless way. Exerting confidence and he exercised his control over life itself. Water erupted out of the ground and caused a mighty lake to form. Grass sprouted out of the planet itself and mighty oak trees grew. It was truly a lush green paradise. Then suddenly there was a loud BOOM!!!! The first sound God ever heard. As it defied the laws of physics itself a mighty shock wave rippled through the Cosmos itself. This was the Big Bang. The mark of a new beginning

For years God slaved away trying and trying to make life. It was a new goal for him. He was a perfect being and he wanted to spend his immortal life surrounded by other perfect beings. So with his new goals in mind he kept trying and trying to make the perfect combination. Eventually after a multitude of failed attempts he finally got a breakthrough. He made a substance called cells. It was a huge breakthrough and he finally created an organism. God was elated, he had finally given life.

After quickly setting up a makeshift planet, God began to experiment. Over the course of 5 million years he began going back and forth between his planet which now had a name Hi-von. He kept changing and adapting the environment to give the new group of organisms a challenge. It was intriguing to say the least. He watched as when he created extreme temperatures they grew to be better adapted to temperature. When he made perpetual darkness overtake this planet he saw as after 5000 years they grew to have night vision. God was so happy over this fact that he kept pushing and pushing them. Giving them one challenge after the other to see how they would overcome it. For the first time in God's life, he felt happy. It was wonderful for him to always be on his toes and see how to adapt to survive.

He saw the good and the bad. After some more years God decided to create the race for his planet Hi-von. But first a body. He would need a body. He gave himself the appearance of an elderly man. A man in his late fifties. Old enough to be wise but young enough to remain strong. He crafted an eloquent gray beard and a gray mane. With his stormy eyes he looked more like a general than a maternal figure. Standing at a solid 6'3 with lean muscles, he was a formidable opponent. Focusing back on his main objective he focused on the qualities he would give to this race of people

He would give them all of the good qualities and none of the bad. God gave them: super strength, speed, durability, intelligence, agility, and extreme temperature resistance. He allowed his race to be able to breathe underwater for up to 2 days without surfacing, and he gave them wings to fly. They would be perfect, just like him. With all these characteristics in mind he began his work.

He sculpted a perfect body with lean muscles and a light Mediterranean complexion. His face had high cheekbones and a sharp jawline. He gave this vessel pitch black eyes and even darker hair. His most important feature in mind though was the enormous pitch black wings coming out of the vessel's back. They were beautiful. He was beautiful. With this vision in mind, he created a baby boy. One that would grow into a powerful warrior and an even more powerful leader. One that would be his right hand made.

With a wave of his hand, a baby formed out of thin air, appearing right in his arms. God gently looked down at the baby, examining it carefully, searching for any flaws . After finding none, he decided to give him a name. He thought for a while trying to find a name that displayed elegance and kindness but also a name that presented the baby as strong. As a leader. With a jolt God found the perfect name for this baby. And God spoke, a deep but gentle voice, laced with power and authority.

"Lucifer, I shall name you Lucifer."
