You fucked up | Chapter 5

I wake up to the sound of beeping, I open my eyes to a bright while light, I blink alot I look over to my left to see my younger sister belly with tears streaming down her face "hey" I croak out, her head shoots up "I'm sorry for ruining your birthday" she starts crying "what happend,what triggered you?" I take a deep breath "me and conrad got into a fight but i'll explain more when we get home" she nods "why weren't you expecting a present of him?" Belly sighs "we got into a fight after him, jeremiah and steven all crashed my date, I told him to go smoke more pot but he snaped back and said to go look at my self in the mirror some more" she looks at the floor "he said what?!" I say becoming quickly infuriated. There's a knock at the door, I look at belly and she nods as to say to let them in "come in" I say "hey uh can I talk to you in private" it's conrad I roll my eyes "sure, belly go tell mom I'm up" I say with an annoyed tone "hey how you feeling" he asks while rubbing his neck "like shit." I answer "look I didn't mean to make you, well you know. I'm just going though alot right now, I shouldn't be making this an excuse I'm really sorry" I look at him, he has tears in his eyes "look conrad, you fucked up and it'll take me a while to forgive you but can you explain why you hate me" I look down and start playing with my rings "I don't hate you, I promise. I don't know why I act like this I'm really sorry" I look up at him "it's okay conrad I get it, i really do" he looks at me "do you remember what happend when we were in jer's jeep the night of the bonfire?" I look at him confused "no why? What happend?" He looks at the floor "Nothing just nevermind" a doctor walks in "your free to go" me and conrad look at him "oh I'm sorry for interrupting you and your boyfriend" I look over at conrad but he stays silent "he isn't my boyfriend" the doctor looks at conrad and asks him to leave, he leaves "He was really worried about you, he told us he was your boyfriend but like you said he isn't. I know its not my place to comment but that probably means something " my face drops "yeah no, it didn't mean anything, he just probably didn't want someone he's know since birth, dead." I slightly laugh "he was more worried than everyone there" I look at the doctor "look it has nothing to do with me but talk to him about it" my mum walks in "hey hunny, you ready to go?" I nod. We finally get home. I was just laying down when belly came in "are you okay to talk about your argument with conrad yet?" I look at her and sigh "yeah I can talk about it" I explain the whole story up to hearing him yell. "Oh my god jade I'm so sorry, did you hear anything he said while waiting for you to wake up?" I look away to think "no I didn't even know he was there" I say confused "yeah I had just been with you for five minutes when you woke up" I look back it her "wait how long was I out for?" "Oh uh for about an hour after the doctors pumped all the pills out and stuff" belly says seeming awkward "oh right okay" there's a long silence "bells, is it okay if you stay? I don't think i'll be able to sleep alone" I ask belly hoping for a yes "oh um I have to do some stuff for the deb ball I'll ask steven or somthing" she says slightly smiling "oh okay" I say slightly disappointed, she leaves I don't here her for a little while till I heard her talking to conrad "hey Connie" I hear her say "yeah belly? What's up?" He sounds tired "well I was telling everyone that jade needs someone to stay with them while they sleep but everyone's to busy, do you think maybe you could?" I didn't hear her say that to anyone. "Oh yeah of course I mean I made jade do all of that stuff" he says quickly "thanks Connie, go now they're probably really tired, they normally are" she said to him about to walk away "wait what do you mean they normally are?" He said to belly with worry "this has happend before didn't susannah tell you and jer?" Belly says in a confused tone "oh well no she didn't" he said sounding disappointed. I hear him walking to my room, I hear him out side the door for a minute before he knocked "come in" I say. He walks in "hey uh everyone else is busy and can't stay are you okay with me staying with you so you can sleep?" He asks me "I really don't care, just get in the bed I'm tired." I say rolling over, he gets into the bed. I was almost asleep when I heard him say "I'm so sorry for everything, i love you" then he kisses my forehead and goes to sleep but i'm in a state of shock, what the hell did he just say?!
