"These earrings," you ask Ryuna, holding up a pair of earrings while a stylist finishes up your hair. "Or these ones?" You ask, holding up another pair.
Ryuna looks in thought, analyzing your outfit and makeup before answering. "The first ones."
Following her advice you put on the first set of earrings and the necklace you had picked out to go with that specific set of earrings once the stylist had finished with your hair and moved aside.
"You look gorgeous," Ryuna remarks, adjusting your hair a little. "I don't know Y/N, Taehyung may finally fall in love with you," Ryuna says with a teasing smile. "That is if he hasn't already."
"Ryu..." you start, giving her a look. "Don't start again please."
"Whatever you say," Ryuna shrugs. "But you know it's the truth."
"Shut up," you say halfheartedly, not able to hide the small grin that makes its way onto your face.
"How long are you going to keep denying your feelings for him, Y/N?" Ryuna sighs. "It's been over fifteen years."
"It doesn't matter. Everything's fine the way it is, why would I choose to ruin that?"
"So you're telling me that your feelings hold no importance? Keeping your feelings bottled up for over fifteen years for the sake of 'damage control', you think that's fine?" Ryuna presses.
"Disregarding his feelings for the sake of my own is just being selfish, Ryuna." You argue.
"How do you know what he feels?" Ryuna asks.
"I'm his best friend and he's my best friend, and that's how it will stay, end of discussion." You conclude, turning around to unbox your bracelet and put it on.
"How long are you going to keep telling yourself that?" Ryuna questions, grabbing your elbow and pulling you to face her once again.
"Every day. I'll tell myself that every day because it's the truth." Your voice rises.
"What exactly is the point of doing this? Why can't you see that he likes you? That he loves you, just as much as you love him." Ryuna's voice raised just as equally as yours.
"I do not love him, and nor does he love me. We are friends." You state the obvious.
