Steve the penguin waddled about, his webbed feet splatting against the ice. He peered into a polar bear's seal hole, slid on his belly down a slope, and thus was happy. He grinned and chattered with his penguin friends and they raced down slopes on their bellies.
Steve waddled up to a crack in the ice where the water was lapping at the edges. He admired his distorted reflection in the water and struck a pose. Suddenly, he saw a disturbance in the water. He looked closer into the water... A murder whale suddenly burst out of the water and grabbed Steve in it's jaws, almost splitting him clean in half.
Steve shrieked in agony. Horrified and frightened, his penguin 'friends' waddled away as fast as their stubby legs would carry them. Steve died, betrayed by his penguin friends.
