"Meera, dear can you please pass this vessel to the caterer", asked Lakshmi aunty. "Sure, aunty", I replied. She left the place thanking me, occupying herself with another task. Well, the entire house is in a mess, and all is busy doing one or another thing as their eldest son, Abhishek Rathore is getting hitched in another 2 days. It's the first wedding in this generation and everyone is trying their best to make no stone unturned to make it the best wedding of the year.

Oh, I totally forgot to introduce myself, I am Meera Khanna, 23 years old, doing my masters in MSC computer science. I am currently here is Rathore mansion to attend my best friend Roohi's elder brother wedding who is also happened to be my long-time crush. Crush? oh yea, who will not have crush on him, that man is all a women need, 6 feet with muscular body, broad shoulder, chiseled jaw, and light brown eyes with a light shade of brown skin, he is breathtaking and gorgeous. But what make him more attractive is his attitude, he is not like a typical young billionaire described in most of the novel that I read who is playboy, cold, rude , not approachable and etc., instead he is opposite to all of it, he is a total sweet heart, very amicable, benevolent, charismatic, compassionate, chivalrous and hardworking which is very obvious as he is leading the Rathore Industries now and since he took over the company it has grown multiple folds. He is now arranged to get married to their business partner's daughter, Tanya who is a well-known model. From what I am aware it's an arrange marriage, Tanya's father approached Rathore family with the marriage proposal and they agreed.

Am I heartbroken?

Of course a YES with all in capital, I use to have crush on him since 16 years old but never had a courage to move it forward or confess to him as he always treat me same like Roohi, perhaps he only seen me as a sister.

Will I ever get over him?

Another big YES, he is just a crush, not the love of my life, I believe in falling in love after marriage like my parents do so I will wait for the right person till he decided to grace my life with his presence.

Am I happy with this wedding?

Another YES, well the entire family is happy with this wedding and Abhi aka Abhisekh is seems happy as well hence I am happy too. And Indian weddings is such a occasion to dress up and have lots of fun with its rituals and not to forget the amazing mouthwatering delicacies. It's not like if your crush is getting married you have to sit in a corner and shed tears hiding from others, hell no, at least I am not like that. If your long-time crush is getting married then it's not big deal or end of the world, I have a lot to achieve and see in life, I am someone who always see positivity in everything and I believe life had store something better for me. Therefore, I am going to enjoy this wedding in full swing with my bestie and her cousins Reena and Rohan.

Reena and Rohan are Abhi and Roohi's fathers' younger brothers children, they are twins and 21 years old this year. While Roohi and I is 23 years old. Abhisekh is 28 years old, same as my brother Karan. Me and Roohi we are friends since we born, just like our fathers and brothers hence I have spent most of my time since childhood in this mansion with the siblings, their parents always treat me like their own. Yea, my father, and Roohi's father is thick buddies and business partners as well and same goes to Abhisekh and my brother Karan. This will explain why my whole family is here in Rathore mansion since past few days to help on the wedding preparations and take part in the celebration. We have been literally staying here for days now even when having our house just next door to Rathore's.
