"Sorry, I... I just need to get out of here right now, please.."
"Okay, okay! No worries, really! You can crash here for a night or two! You won't bother me or my girlfriend!"
A voice reassured Yozora on the phone, who seems to be in great distress for reasons Ivy is not aware of yet."Thanks..."
He muttered out, sniffing before hanging up the phone, cheeks flushing red out of emberassment from crying again despite promising himself he would hold it together. Stupidly enough, he barely took anything with him. All he desired was to get away from him, no memory weighing him down. Any object from their shared would hold a strong emotional burden right now which he really doesn't need at the moment. And so he ended up in the same flat he randomly dissapeared from on a random weekend. It felt weird.
"Yozora!!"
Ivy swung her arms around him, Yozora responding with returning the hug in silence, putting on a smile.
"Tell me everything! Actually, come in first!"
Ivy opened the door further, stepping aside to widen the gap he could walk into to get into the small entrance area.Yozora entered, having a weird feeling similar to nostalgia. He spent so many years of his life here. It hasn't always been easy, especially since they were both very young when they moved in here, both desperately trying to find their place in life.
He got himself comfortable on a couch nearby, Ivy joining in just a bit later with two cups of tea in her hands, placing it on the counter. She looked at Yozora, waiting for him to start.
"It's.. nothing big. We just got into a little fight and we need a break!"
"Ahhh... You sounded so devastated on the phone..."
She stated scaptical, sitting down.
"But then again, you're the pretty emotional type."
She ended with a smile."Ehe, yeah..."
He chuckled, leaning back on the couch, glad that she bought the lie"You know that if you wanna talk about it though you can let me know! Hows the wound? Did it heal yet??"
She holed him with questions and promises. Yozora nodded, smiling."It's better, barely hurts anymore. And I know...... Actually, I have something.."
He looked up, Ivy staring at him with an attentive expression."If, let's just say, the person you trust hides half of their life from you, would you be mad?"
Unsure, Ivy looked down muttering.
"Hm, this is hard... It depends?""Okay... depends on what?"
Yozora looked down, playing with his tea bag that's floating in the drink, fiddling with the string.Ivy listed as she kept her eyes on him.
"A lot of things. Why is he hiding it? WHAT is he hiding? Is it something dangerous?"Right on spot, Yozora stopped moving his hand and sighed softly.
"I see..."
"Come on, something bad happened. You're making it too obvious."
"It's.. it's really nothing like that. I'm just being dramatic."
"Well, alright..."
She got up.
"You call whenever you need something, alright?"
Ivy said, knowing damn well that even if he'd be bleeding out on the ground he wouldn't call her.
"Mhm! Have fun!"
Yozora put on a smile again, waving off Ivy who's off somewhere he doesn't know.
He took the opportunity to take a walk through his old living place again. He knew he was not gonna live here forever, but maybe he was too rash. It's not like he can return when Ivy already found a new roommate. Mixed with the already clutch of negative emotions he's been feeling, it made him feel replaced, bitter, jealous... Normally he'd be happy for his friend to move on with life happily, the same way he tried to. But after being played like this it's hard for even him to stay as positive and selfless as normally.
He felt his phone buzzing in the pocket of his jacket, pulling it out to see who's calling this time for a moment scared it's gonna be Kuro again. But it wasn't him, no. It was Seki. He wasn't sure if that's worse. He put up a short debate on leaving him on delivered or picking up. Last he remembers was picking up roughly after 20 seconds of waiting, hovering his thumb over the screen.
