" Cirro, The beast's have gotten too out of hand! They have plagued the fields with their shadows, we won't be able to have a full harvest. We have new faeries coming to the land and if the fields are barren..." A bee had started buzzing as she was following the ancient Dragonfly. They flew into Transissec, a magical forest filled with life. New plants grew with every passing day, replacing herbs and roots that were used for everyday practices. Cirro and the working bee landed on a branch, close to the center of the forest.

" The Faeries. Right. Now, what would you suggest we do about these... creatures?" Cirro thought. His voice echoed into the ears of the young bee. Cirro looked down at the new hollows being built. The pollinator was correct, they had a new life coming to the forest and they had to make sure it was protected. The children of laughter could not thrive in a place of such fear and darkness. " Our colony was buzzing around near the wastelands, a little off our territory. If we were to speak with the other fae of the territory we were looking on, maybe we could find a way to lock the dark spirits away. This could be a way to save all of Ceratiauri."

" But how would we accomplish such a task?" Cirro moved his wings as he spoke, getting ready for another takeoff, Once he did, the bee quickly flew off after him. She caught up to where they were side by side, good enough for a slight conversation. " All the fae of the other lands could join their powers together and cast some sort of gate to keep them locked away."

And that is exactly what they did. They rallied the leaders of all the other faes and they joined forces. The gate was cast with a mixture of spells and chants, making the structure invisible once it was sealed. They heard the screams of the now angered spirits and the swishing of the ones that weren't originally from this realm. They prayed it would hold and then they disappeared. Falling from the view of the living creatures. They were the only ones who knew how to cast the reverse. The only ones who could actually make the release a reality. They needed to make sure they were never found.

Over the years, the gate cracked and the magic started to fade. The years of built-up anger were deemed too powerful for the spell, and soon, smaller spirits and creatures slipped out of the magical grasp. A few rebelled against the higher-ups and started wreaking havoc on the villages. Only small things since they weren't strong enough to cast a whole into darkness. The loyal ones bided their time, slinking into the shadows of caves. They waited until the crack grew big enough to where they were all free of their prison.
