The year was December 24, 1322. I recall waking up one morning and my father asked me to come down to his study so I got out of bed and had done my morning routine and put on a nice silk white dress and decided to do small braids in my hair and leave the rest down. I walked out of my bedroom and went downstairs to my fathers study, I knocked on the door and awaited for him to tell me to come in after he said to come in a came in and did a former curtsy, she'd then look up at her father who was sitting at his desk. "You asked for me father?" She'd say walking closer over to his desk. Her father looked up and spoke softly. "Hey lil, I have great news! To help with out kingdoms wealth I'm having you marry a prince who lives in a kingdom overseas to help unite us with their kingdom and help us out." Lillian would scrunch her nose hearing her fathers childhood nickname he gave to her, her expression soon turned to one of fear and anger as she wasn't expecting her father to basically give her life away to a man she's never met. "But- father have you even met the man your marrying me off too.." she'd say with a hint of sadness in her voice as she looked at him for answers. "No, but he will be coming over seas tomorrow by noon to meet you and to sign off on the contract of your marriage." And after hearing that Lillian had stormed out of her fathers study quickly ignoring her fathers pleas for her to come back and talk to him. After she left her fathers study she found her self sitting outside on the hill by a tree with her childhood swing. She'd sit on the swing and look at the sunset as she was lost in her thoughts thinking how could her father do this to her. After a bit of Lillian sitting on the swing watching the sunset she didn't want to head back to the castle since she was still upset at her father but she decided to head back to her room and just avoid her father as she was walking back to the castle she'd stop in her tracks when she'd had heard the voice of a man with a slight British accent greet her. "Well hello, luv. Why might you be out so late?" Lillian had turned around and faced the man she'd see a man who had orange hair and blue eyes, she would eye the man cautiously as she didn't want to trust the stranger. "I was heading back home, and who might you be?" She'd look at him waiting for a response. "Niklaus Mikaelson, but you can call me nick." "I'm Lillian Véres, but you can call me Lilly." She'd say putting her hand out for the man to shake but in his manner way he'd give her a kiss on the hand. "As in related to Johnathan Véres?, now I'm really curious of why the king would let his daughter be outside unprotected.." Lillian would put her hands in the side pockets of her silk dress. "Well he doesn't know that I'm out here, plus I'm not talking to him right now anyway.." Klaus would give her a questioning look but quickly shrugged it off before speaking again. "How about I escort you back so your safe?" He'd say with a small smile then putting his arm out for her to hold in which Lillian would give a cautious glare before excepting it. "I suppose that would hurt." And the two would walk back to the castle and Klaus would leave Lillian at the door and he'd wave goodbye, which caused Lillian to give a soft smile at his antics and she'd sneak back into the castle and heading straight to her room. She'd grab her pajamas and go to take a shower and clean herself before bed, she caught herself thinking about the mysterious Mikaelson he seemed odd but like in a good way she thought to herself before drifting off to sleep.

-Next Morning-
Lillian would wake up and get ready for her day and instead of going downstairs to eat breakfast with her father like she usually did she'd get up and head into the small town instead for breakfast so grabbed a few copper coins putting them in her dresses side pockets and snuck out her window to the town as she was walking alone the street she'd hear the familiar British voice again. "Well good morning Klaus, sleep well?" She'd say starting a conversation in which he reapplied in his joking tone. "Like a baby of course, what about you? How'd you sleep." Lillian would turn her head at that question. "How would you sleep if your father forced you into a arranged marriage?" She'd say crossing her arms as she walked to the dinner to get breakfast, she'd sit down and order sunny side up eggs with toast and eggs. Klaus would sit across from her. "Want anything? It'll be my treat." "No I think I'm alright I've already had breakfast today." Klaus would say the young girl. "Lillian if your so a-posed of the whole arrangement then why not run away?" He'd ask a bit curious of her answer. "I.. I mean I could but I don't think Ben know where I would go or if I can bring myself to leave my father he's my only family I have left since my mother died when she gave birth to me... 15 years ago.." "I'm sorry for your loss.." Lillian would shake her head a bit. "Don't be I never knew her but I have a feeling she's at peace and I'm just glad to know that even if she didn't get to see me grow up, which I do think about those thoughts at times but I push them away." Klaus spoke softly to the girl. "Well Lillian family is always and forever even if you haven't met them it's a strong bond that will be with you forever even if the person isn't always bound by blood you'll know the feeling." "But if you ever did want to run away Lillian I could introduce you to my siblings and we can take you in and make you one of us." Lillian would give a soft smile In response. "Your very kind Klaus but I'll think about it I want to run away or not." After a bit the waiter would come back to the table with Lillian's food in which she'd thank them and began eating her food which she was rudely interrupted when her father rushed towards her. "Lillian Verès!, how many times do I have to tell you about sneaking out for he palace!- and with a stranger as well." He'd say referring to Klaus, Lillian would stay quiet as she listened to her father yell at her. "Dad last I checked I didn't want to speak to you and you didn't have to cause a scene in-front of my friend-" "I don't want to hear it lil, your coming home with me right now so you can meet that prince!" Her father would grab her by the risk forcefully and pulled her up and was dragging her back to the castle. "Father, I don't want to go- and could you not hold me so tight-" her fathers temper would take over as the two were back at the castle and out of sight her father would slap her across the face. "Why don't you ever listen to me!- I'm doing this to protect you and keep you safe!-" Lillian would put her hand up to her face as it stung from her fathers slap. "If you really wanted to protect me you wouldn't give me away to a stranger!-" her father would step forward with a look of disappointment and anger in his eyes. "Well if I had a daughter who would listen and not act like a foolish girl and run around all the time with random strangers in town." Lillian would turn her head away from him. "Why can't I just be myself I never wanted to be a princess and I never wanted to marry anyone right now at least on my own terms-" her father would step closer and he'd shoved her into the wall before slapping her across the face again. This caused Lillian to just snap and she'd fight back with all her force by the end of it she ended up winning when she shoved her father a little to hard down the stairs and when she went down to check on him he was dead and with that she ran out of the castle with tears in her eyes as she was afraid of what she'd just done.
As she ran further into town she'd look for Klaus. "Klaus!, Klaus please where are you!-" "hey it's ok, Lillian what happened to your face?" He'd place his hand on her bruised face and when he saw her flinch he knew it hurt. "Come on I'll ask questions later but for now I'll take you to my family." He'd walk off in the other direction leading Lillian down a gravel path which eventually their was a large house at the end of. "Well welcome to the Mikaelsons house, I'll introduce you to my siblings later for now let's take you to the guest room to settle in" he'd lead her upstairs to a spare room leaving her their for a bit the go and talk to his siblings about the current situation. When he came back he knocked on the open door and two of his siblings would be with him one would be a blonde female who was wearing a nice white silk dress and the other sibling would have black hair and was wearing a suit. "I wasn't expecting to meet your siblings so soon.." she'd look at the three and out of the three the blonde would speak first she also had a bit of a British accent as well as Klaus. "Names Rebekah, and it's nice to meet you Lillian." "You can just call me Lilly.. but very nice to meet you" Lillian would return a soft smile to the blonde who gave her one. And the sibling with dark brown hair spoke. "Elijah, it's a pleasure to meet you Lilly." Lillian would give a soft smile in response. "Nice to meet you as well." Klaus would speak "alright let's give the girl some space she can talk to us in the morning." He'd push his siblings out of the room. "Dinner will be downstairs when your hungry." Klaus would say before walking off. Lillian would close the door and she'd curl up the guest bed as her mind was having flashbacks to the angry look her father had and then she saw his dead body again and she'd start breaking down into tears, after about what felt like hours of crying she'd eventually fall asleep for the night.
