A group of 4 men walked through the dark hallway of ADX Florence, 2 police officers, the Secretary-General of UN and the COP. The police officers guided them until they reached a particular cell-458.
A police officer came forward and banged on the bars of the cell waking its inmate.

"You have a visitor", one of the policemen spoke.
She got up, dragging her fetters along. Her long, coarse, tangled hair was let loose, it covered her face while she hung her head low.
"We're here to release you", spoke the COP.
She turned in their direction.
"Uh......w-we need your help", continued the Secretary-General.
As soon as those words reached her ear, she laughed loudly and jeered.
"Why global warming won't let your mommy sleep?"
"It's about the creatures", the Secretary-General pleaded.
"They've caused havoc, they're everywhere, its an apocalypse out there"
She halted, all her actions died down.
"Why?", she asked this time her voice was serious.

She grew furious when she didn't get an answer. She ran towards them but the bars prevented her from getting hold on them. She gripped on the bars and screamed with rage.
"Why are they everywhere? They were endemic to the island. Then why are they everywhere?!"
"They were smuggled. From that remote island to Asia, Middle East, Africa, America not even North Korea stood a chance. Many countries are under lockdown, 100s are being attacked, 1000s killed. No one stands a chance against those creatures not even machines", the Secretary-General said trying his best to make her persuade her.
She chuckled, "Those creatures are gifts of nature not creations, you hurt them they kill you."
"What?", the COP asked with narrow eyes and frowned brows.
"They have superficial powers should've figured that out by now didn't you?", she said her sarcastic voice had hurt, anger and sadness.
The COP started to say when he was cut off by-
"Cherish it idiots", she said looking away and walking back into her cell.

"That's why we need you , to- ", the Secretary-General was cut off
"To kill them? Make money out of them? Experiment on them? Yeah. Hard pass.", she said her voice coated with sarcasm.
"No. We want it back to where it belonged, the island. Once that's done the island will be off the grid, and with security cams working 24/7 making sure no one goes in or out. Those creatures will be back home and the human race will avoid a catastrophe. It's a win-win", the Secretary-General negotiated.

She thought for a while and then replied-
"Print it, sign it and show it to the people", she demanded.
"No. This is highly confidential. People think that you started it and if they know your free now, it might alarm people and even cause violence in such a scale that we may not be able to control.", denied the COP.
"Didn't my freedom give you hope? It'll give them too. Besides, from what you've said I'm the only option you, they, and the world has got. It's do or die.", she stated.

The Next Day-
The news flashed her face over and over, along with the newly signed pact, the same headlines ran in every news channel of every country, every town, every house for the whole day.
'Winter Hawke out of prison'
'The hunter out to hunt'
'Winter Hawke and the UN pact - The Nature Pact'
'The monsters will meet the master'
'Will the nightmare finally end?'
And many more......
