(Note, this will alter from being in 3rd person pov to Wilhelm's and Simon's pov)

-3rd person pov-
After Wilhelm had made the speech his mom looked at him in absolute disgust. This is not how she had planned this speech to go. Wilhelm no longer cared what his mom thought though, he was tired of not being able to make these decisions on his own. He knew though now his mom was thinking harder than ever to make August his back-up for crown prince, he could see in it in her face.

After the speech he looked behind him to see Simon smiling but he didn't know if it was due to embarrassment or happiness. He walked back to his seat and looked at his mom knowing she would look back at him with the look of disgust she often felt toward him. And when he did she said "We will talk later about your punishment Wilhelm." He was surprised she spoke to him despite how mad she sounded.

"Mhm....and why is that," Wilhelm said.

"We aren't going to talk about this here so zip it," she said still sounding madder than ever.

-Fast forward to after the Jubilee, so about 2 hours-

Wilhelm and his mom sat in the car silent next to each other both thinking about what they are going to say to each other when they got back to the palace that Wilhelm had once called home. When they parked of course the body guards opened the door for the queen and the crown prince but they were still quiet lost in thought not even there enough to say thank you. When they got inside Wilhelm ran up to his room and saw that he had a text so he opened it and was surprised to see who it was from. The name read, Simon.

-text conversation between the two-
Simon- Hey, I liked your speech
Wilhelm- Oh, thank you
Simon- Do you want to come over later today and talk??
Wilhelm- Okay! About what though?
Simon- What we are now

(Wilhelm hears a call from his mom)

Wilhelm- Hey I'm sorry I have to go
Simon- Okay, bye

Wilhelm walked over to the sitting room where his mom was and looked her straight in the eyes. "What do you want," he said.

"Is that any way to talk to me young man, I am your mother, but most of all I am the queen of Sweden so you don't disrespect me, got it?" She said raising her voice but not quite yelling.

"Yes," Wilhelm said looking down at his shoes thinking how fun it would be to trow one strait at the queens face.

"What the hell were you thinking today, we had a whole speech planned out and you ruined it, what do you have to say for yourself?" The queen said still disgusted.

"Mom, I am tired of making false accusations and lying to the public about myself for your sake and for the sake of your reputation, this is my life and I should be able to live it however I want, if that means being with a boy, the one I love than so be it. We say we are truthful but we do nothing but lie, especially when it comes to me," he said trying to to yell.

"That is not true, son how do you expect the public to feel now that you have come out to all of Sweden about having a boyfriend?" She asked.

"Not all of them will except it but I'm sure there will be people who except me for me more than my own mother except me for me."

Wilhelm was getting so angry now he couldn't stand to look at his mother so he was giving her the same look of disgust she had been giving him his entire life.

-Wilhelm's pov-
I couldn't stand to look at my mother right now. I could tell she was disappointed in me but that didn't come as much of a surprise. When it came to my mother she always looked at me as a disappointment and when it came to Erik he was treated like he was already king. You would think that now that he is gone she would treat me with a little more respect and honor but that's bull shit.

As soon as I finished saying what I was saying I stood up and walked out making sure she didn't see me go out the front door where Malin let me out. Malin and I have always gotten along. She took me to see Simon without saying a word to my mom and that's one of the things I liked about her, she kept secrets between us, she never told my mom if I sneaked off, and she never told my mom if I wasn't home without her permission to leave.

As soon as we pull up I go to Simon's front door and Malin makes sure there is nobody walking around, like paparazzi or reporters. As soon as he answered Malin made sure I was inside before she left.

"Hi," I said walking in through the front door.

"Hey," Simon said inviting me in.
