Chapter 1

Lucas Pov-

Zniyah-so who are you going to take to prom

Lucas-I was thinking of asking you

Zniyah-really?

Lucas-yup so...will you go to prom with me

Zaniyah-yes I'd love too

I watched as a smile formed across her face. I than pushed her curly hair behind her ear and grabbed her face and kissed her. She kissed back. I was enjoying the moment until I heard a loud crash from downstairs. Zaniyah and me ran down to see our mother's fighting and pushing each other.

(Lm-lucas mom)
(Zm-zaniyah mom)

Lm-im sorry I didn't mean too

Zm- you were my best friend

Lm- I'm sorry please forgive me

Zm-never now get the hell out my house

Lm-fine bye come on lucas

I looked at her crazy and than she yelled at me to come again so turned around and hugged zaniyah and whispered in her ear.

Lucas-I'll call you ma

She nodded her head and hugged me a than walked out the door and hopped in my mom's car and she sped off.

Zaniyah's Pov-

After lucas left I went into the kitchen to check up on my mama. When I walked in to see her sitting at the table drinking a glass of liquor. I sat across from her to talk.

Zaniyah-mama what happened

Zm-I don't wanna talk about it

Zaniyah-mama please tell me

Zm-your father cheated on me with lucas' mother

I shook my head damn they are best friends or at least were. My mama busted out crying and threw the glass she was drinking from on the floor. I ran to her side and hugged her as she cried out. I walked her towards her room and led her to her bedroom. She layed down as I covered her up than layed beside her as she cried. After about 10 minutes she stopped and I looked at her to see she was sleep so I kissed her cheek than walked out the room. As I headed towards my room the front door opened and in walked my father. He smiled at me and spoke.

Zd-hey babygirl

Zaniyah-how could you

Zd-how could I what

Zaniyah-cheat on mom with her best friend huh how

Zd-look babygirl i..i (gcof)

Zaniyah-don't apoligize to me you need to apoligize to your wife that's been crying her eyes out because of you

Before he got to say another word I walked into my bedroom. As i did i heard arguing. To drown out the sound i turned on some music in my beats pill and went to take a shower. I hopped in the shower and washed my hair. Afterwards i dried my hair with a towel and threw on some jogging pants and a tank top and layed down and vibed to my music. After about an hour my phone rang. I turned off the music and looked at my phone to see lucas name across the screen. I answered the phone.

Lucas-uhh hey

Zaniyah-hey

Lucas-so are you ight and ya mama

Zaniyah-yea ig but my mama's hurt

Lucas-well im sorry

Zaniyah-lucas you don't have to apoligize it's not your fault

Lucas-ik but i wanted to just say sorry

Zaniyah-ok but uhh about prom what colors are we wearing

Lucas-I don't know ma how bout you pick

Zaniyah-how bout blue and black

Lucas-sounds good to me but i gotta go I'll talk to ya later

Zaniyah-ok bye lucas

Lucas-bye ma and goodnight love you

Zaniyah-love you too

I heard a beep as the phone hung up. I locked up my phone than set it on my stand and drifted off to sleep.

So there's the first chapter. Zaniyah above in the media. And as you can see I changed the characters zaniyah is really GOLDENKURLS from vine and instagram in real life zaniyah is not her real name she just plays as this character in my book.
