"Kyle, cook me a pig for dinner"
"How about I cook you, for dinner? You look like a pig anyways."
When that was said, all of the boyband members had different reactions
Kyle hid his face in his elbow (to laugh)
Jacob, with no shame, laughed loudly while pointing at Jason and hitting the counter repeatedly
Jeremy looked up from his phone and looked down again, not phased
And, Jason pouted, his eyes squinting at Jamie. Jason looked like a-
"Duck! You look like a duck pouting like that!" Jacob shouted, and threw his head back to laugh even louder
"Shut up, Jacob! I know you're obsessed with me!"
"Dude! Snap out of this...unreal world you're in where you think that I'M obsessed with you! YOU'RE the one who's obssesed with ME!"
"Yeah? Well-!...........I know that...."
"Shut........... I dont even like......."
"I am not............ You're......"
"....!..."
"...?!.."
Jamie rolled his eyes, blocking out the argument those two always have, he didn't even care anymore
Jamie sighed, slinging his arm to the back of his chair, chewing the inside of his cheek
"Psst! Jamie!"
Jamie glanced beside him, raising an eyebrow
"What?" Jamie whispered
Kyle looked around, before turning his whole body to Jamie
"I made a song last week but I hadn't had the chance to show you yet, is it alright if we go up and I'll show it to you right now?"
"Sure, let's go" Jamie didn't hesitate to answer, why would he hesitate? It's Kyle! Kyle wants to show him something, and he knows that, that something would be amazing
Kyle looked shocked that Jamie, actually agreed but he didn't say anything and just stood up, holding his wrist out to Jamie
Jamie gladly held onto the wrist of Kyle's creamy white jacket, letting himself be led to Kyle's room
When they were inside Kyle's room, Kyle pulled out a chair for Jamie before sitting on his bed and picked up his lyre
Jamie sat down and looked at Kyle, gesturing for him to start
Kyle nodded, his hand that held onto the beaters for the lyre hovered for a while before he started hitting some bars
Kyle hummed as he started the intro of his newly made song, fluttering his eyes shut
"My~ my~ loverboy~ My~ my~ loverboy. Notice me...~ for I've grown sick, sitting here, watching you stare at her instead of me...~ oh ouh~~ oh!~ oh ouh~~ oh ouh~~...."
Jamie stared at Kyle as he continued singing the lyrics, he was mesmerizing. It has been a few months since that time on the beach, after that day, Kyle seemed to be more comfortable around him, he seemed to be more...touchy...with Jamie...Not that Jamie is complaining! He loves it whenever Kyle would side-hug him after Kyle comes back home from grocery shopping
Jamie also noticed that Kyle had been more...aware of the meaning behind words...unlike before, whenever Jamie would compliment Kyle's clothes and Kyle would always misunderstand, that Jamie doesn't want Kyle to immediately change and give the clothes to Jamie just because Jamie liked it
Enough about that, Jamie stared at the way Kyle's mouth moved, how he pronounced the words, Jamie also stared at Kyle's hand, how even though Kyle has his eyes closed, his hands still seemed to know where exactly they have to go, Jamie looked at Kyle's hair. He honestly missed how Kyle's hair looked back then before he got the haircut, but this haircut looks fine on him as well. He seemed more confident with his new haircut, and that's all that matters
Jamie smiled at Kyle widely as he finish the song, preparing himself to bombard Kyle with praise and compliments
"Mhhhmmm~...Did you like it, Jamie?" Kyle asked, opening his eyes and looking hopefully at Jamie
Jamie stood up from his seat and started to walk towards Kyle, Kyle gently moved his lyre from its resting position on his shoulder to the side and watched Jamie as he walked toward him
Jamie stopped in front of Kyle, positioning himself between Kyle's legs and looked down at him. They stared at each other for a while, then suddenly, Jamie held both of Kyle's shoulders and shook them
"That was amazing Kyle! The way you played was so...so...good! The way you sang the song is incredible too!"
Kyle smiled widely as Jamie shook Kyle's soul out of him
Kyle was so happy, Jamie liked the song! His...friend...liked the song he made, Kyle listened to Jamie ramble about how the lyrics were so perfect and how Kyle was perfect
Kyle liked hanging out with Jamie, Kyle liked doing everything with Jamie by his side, He would do everything to avoid the scenario of Jamie ever leaving him
Jamie had always been so kind to him, so caring, so comfortable around him.
He wanted Jamie, He wanted Jamie to be his best friend...
When Jamie stopped giving rapid-fire praises, they both just stared at each other, both of them have smiles that almost reaches their ears
They were both glad that they were friends
That was one of the things on their mind.
The other thing on their mind?
They both want to be more than friends
And they were ready to take the risk to be more than that
"Kyle?"
"Yes?"
"I think I'm in love with you"
"Okay"
"What do you mean okay-"
"Jamie?"
"...Yes...Kyle?"
"I think I'm in love with you too"
