It was a typical Tuesday. Jared was walking in the rain to his friend, Jackson's house. He was thinking to himself, "I hope Christian will be there, he makes me feel like I'm the only girl in the world." Christian is beautiful. He has dirty blonde hair, and he's shorter than Jared, but that doesn't change his feelings towards him.

Jared approaches Jackson's house and knocks on the door, sopping wet from the rain. Jackson opens the door and sees Jared shivering from the cold.

"Um, h-hey Jackson!" Jared says happily, excited to get out of the rain. Jackson chuckles.
"Nobody's really here yet, you came a little early. Why don't you come in and dry off a bit? Christian should be here in about 10 minutes." Jackson informs. Jared steps inside past Jackson into the warm house.

"O-okay! I'll be on the couch. And um, my shirt's... pretty wet.. do you have one I could borrow?" Jared questions. Jackson walks over to Jared who's still shuddering from the cold. He takes off his shirt abruptly, "Here, just take mine," Jared, caught off guard, looks at Jackson's shirtless form in front of him. He knows he shouldn't, but he can't help it when Jackson looks like that. "O-oh, uh, thanks..!" Jared says, flustered.

Jackson walks into the kitchen to grab some drinks for himself and his guest. He looks into the living room just as Jared is removing his own soaked shirt, catching a glimpse of his chest. He watches as Jared pulls Jackson's shirt over his torso, then quickly looks away.

Christian walks through the front door, slightly damp, but not as bad as Jared once was. He approaches Jackson in the kitchen and kisses him passionately on the lips while Jared watches.

Christian looks from Jackson to Jared, and whispers to Jackson, "Why does he have your shirt on?" he questions. Jackson takes a second to reply to sneak a peek at Jared, then says, "he was soaked, and besides, I was getting too warm anyway." Christian scoffs, "Whatever." Christian walks away and sits on the opposite side of the couch as Jared.

There's a knock at the door, Christian and Jared both get up to get the door and look at each other awkwardly. Jared points at the door and asks if he wants to get it. Christian doesn't reply and continues to walk toward the door. Jared can see Darrel and Lindsey before Christian as they walk in. Jared thinks to himself, "Finally some people that can help ease the tension." Darrel goes to greet Jackson and grab drinks for himself and Lindsey as she sits next to Jared.

Jackson and Darrel are talking about some party, not exactly quietly. Spencer is throwing a party at his place on the upcoming Friday. Christian yells from the couch, "What are you guys talking about?" Darrel walks towards the living room, drinks in hand, "Oh, just a party Spencer's gonna host. We should all go." Lindsey looks up at Darrel as he hands her a drink, "Sure, I'm down. What do you think, Jared?" He doesn't take long to respond, agreeing with Lindsey. Christian looks towards Jackson and adds, "I guess we can go."

"So who's even gonna be there?" Jared questions. "I hope Fae will be there," Lindsey comments. Darrel glares at her from across the couch.

The group continues to chat until nightfall. Christian and Jackson go up to their bedroom, Jared, Darrel, and Lindsey stay downstairs and choose to sleep on the couch. Darrel and Lindsey fall asleep, though Jared spends some time on his phone before he dozes off.

Jared's eyes slowly open, blinking to adjust to the darkness. He sits up and looks around, seeing the light on the porch on. He stands and makes his way towards the front door. Upon opening it, he sees Jackson sitting over the railing of the porch, his back facing him.

Jackson looks over his shoulder and sees Jared, his eyes lighting up at the sight. He looks down and continues to roll his joint. Jared walks to the railing and climbs over, sitting next to Jackson. "What're you doing up so late?" Jared asks, slightly drowsy. "Couldn't sleep so I came outside," Jackson replies, glancing up at Jared who's watching his hands. "You want some?" Jackson questions. "O-oh- sure," Jared answers.

Jackson grabs the lighter to his left and puts the tip of the joint to his mouth. Jared accepts and flushes light pink, barely noticeable in the moonlight. Jackson lights the joint and takes it back, sticking it to his own lips and inhaling. He looks back at Jared and smirks at his flustered appearance. Jackson hands it to Jared and he takes it graciously. He takes a few hits as they sit in comfortable silence. The next time Jared brings it towards his mouth Jackson takes it before grabbing his face and replaces the joint with his lips. Jared stills in shock before Jackson pulls back and looks away, awkwardly. "Uh- sorry. I didn't-" Jackson is cut off by Jared reconnecting their lips, Jared's hand resting on his neck and Jackson's hand moving to grab his hip.

Jared pulls back again, "We should get off the railing," he giggles. "Oh, yeah," Jackson chuckles back. The two climb off the railing, their hands never leaving each other's bodies. Jackson sat on the ground, his back against the wall. Jared wraps his thighs around Jackson's hips, kissing him passionately in the process. Jackson's hands return to Jared's hips, grasping the ends of his shirt and tugging slightly upwards. Jared lifts his arms up and allows Jackson to remove his shirt, throwing it somewhere beside them. The two continue until the door abruptly swings open, revealing a very surprised Darrel. Jackson pushes Jared away and scrambles up to his feet. He shoves Darrel aside and walks towards the stairs.

Darrel's eyes break away from Jared's, noticing the joint on the railing. He grabs it and walks away, leaving Jared alone on the porch. Jared sits there stunned and thinks about what just happened.

Friday rolls around and everyone is at Jackson's house getting ready. Jared and Darrel are talking about how the night might go, Lindsey is in the bathroom getting ready, and Jackson and Christian are getting ready in another room. Lindsey walks out of the bathroom and knocks on the door of Christian and Jackson's room. "Are you guys almost done? We have to go soon," they walk out of the room looking a little messy. Lindsey glared at them as they walked down the stairs.

"Wait, how are we even gonna get there?" Lindsey questions. "Oh, I hadn't even thought about that," Jared replies. "I texted my sister," Christian says, "but I have no promises she's not busy." The group discusses alternate ways to get to the party until Christian feels a buzz in his pocket. "Oh, Kennedy answered," Christian says. "So, can she bring us?" Darrel asks. "Yeah, says she'll be here in 10." They continue to talk until Kennedy arrives and honks her horn.

They all pile into the car. Jared stares longingly at Christian from the backseat, wishing he would look back. He looks at Jackson instead.
