Armed with newfound knowledge and determination, Pen, Match, and Teardrop emerged from the guardian's realm, their hearts ablaze with purpose. The shifting realms awaited them, but they were no longer afraid. They knew that their bond was stronger than any challenge they might face.

As they traversed the mystical landscapes, Match found herself occasionally calling Teardrop her "daughter" in jest, bringing a playful smile to the water droplet's face. Match had grown fond of the inside joke, and it added a touch of humor to their adventurous journey.

Pen, too, occasionally played along, calling himself the "dad" and Match the "mom" when the situation allowed. The trio had become an inseparable team, their connection transcending mere friendship.

"Seriously, though," Match said one evening as they set up camp, "We've been through so much together. It's like we're a family."

Teardrop nodded, her sign language expressing her agreement. Pen grinned, "Yeah, y'know, like a weird, blue family!"

Match rolled her eyes at Pen's playful exaggeration, but couldn't help but laugh. It was true, though. Their shared experiences had bound them together in ways they couldn't have foreseen.

Meanwhile, in a secluded corner of the shifting realms, Pencil and Eraser laid together, their spirits low. Pencil looked exhausted and hopeless, and Eraser's face mirrored her feelings.

"I miss my friends," Pencil murmured, her voice laden with sadness. "Bubble, Ruby, Match... I wish they were here with us."

Eraser sighed, feeling drained from hearing Pencil's constant complaints

Eraser sighed, feeling drained from hearing Pencil's constant complaints. "Bro, I've had enough of you complaining about your friends," he said, trying to keep his own emotions in check. "It's making me sad, too, and I can't handle that right now."

Pencil looked at him with teary eyes. "It's just... I just really miss them! We're in the middle of nowhere, and I literally don't know if we can even meet them again."

Eraser's defenses cracked slightly as he saw how upset Pencil truly was. "That sounds hella deep, bro," he replied, trying to inject some humor into the situation.

"Oh yeah? Then what's your saying about 'boys don't cry'? You can cry here! Just like I did! It's not like anyone's gonna see you!" Pencil retorted, her frustration pouring out.

Eraser hesitated for a moment, then admitted, "Well, maybe... just a little. But boys are strong, you know, and pink is a manly color. Now shut up... I'm trying to think here."

Pen, Match, and Teardrop, nearing the end of their own journey, heard the voices of their missing friends. Match's heart pounded with anticipation as she recognized Pencil's voice.

"Pencil!" Match cried out, excitement and relief flooding her voice.

Pen, Match, and Teardrop rushed towards the sound of their friends' voices until they finally emerged from the shifting realms and into the same corner where Pencil and Eraser sat.
