a little conversation with Hania and she vanished among the guests. The whole time Taehyung's eyes kept looking for her and what he feared came true. Hania was hovering around Jungkook, for obvious reasons of course. Then the blue hair recalled how she told him that his parents wanted Jungkook to date Hania because apparently, she was the right choice for their family. Taehyung was curious then, and he was curious now. What was their 'right choice'? How did they evaluate her? Could Taehyung ever be anyone's 'right choice'? He wondered while jealousy did its wonders on his brain. Cooking scenarios and uncomfortable moments where he will have to gulp in his anger and let her touch his love.
It was funny actually how the ever-confident, straightforward Kim Taehyung turned weak and scared when it came to Jungkook. Guess love does that to you. You start to protect them either by fighting for them or by accepting defeat. Whatever ensures their happiness and safety would be okay with you too. You let your little ego take the backseat.
Jungkook was sipping on the carbonated drink. Just when someone tapped on his shoulder, "Hi Kook"
The ravenette rolled his eyes at the sight of Hania.
"Bet you didn't expect me. But did you forget, Dalmi is my best friend and Hyunjae, her fiance, we studied together in college. I swear, I'm not stalking you Kookie", the woman chuckled.
"Hania, why don't you leave me alone and enjoy the party?"
"Well, you seem to be sulking alone while you're little", she leaned and whispered in his ears, "Boyfriend", and then she leaned back, "is trying to act invisible over there. So I guessed the rest". She was unknown of the fact that her actions made Taehyung grit his teeth and clench his fist in anger. "Just here to be a good company, I swear"
Jungkook smirked and said, "Actually you know what, you're right. I like your company"
If one would say that Hania was surprised, it would be an understatement.
After that The whole time Jungkook and Hania were busy in some idiotic conversation, either they were giggling or laughing. Taehyung was already feeling left out and now he was even more furious. But was he going to act on his nerves? The answer was no. For a while at least, he's gonna hold on to this little birdie called patience. But how long... Well that's something he has to still figure out.

25 minutes have already passed. "Aren't they done talking", the blue hair grumbled in anger beside Jin. The elder whipped his eyes where the younger was throwing daggers through his eyes.
"Oh them? Yeah, Kookie seems too comfortable with the woman", he commented. " Wonder what they're talking about"
"Jin hyung, go stop him. Bring him here", Taehyung requested.
"And why? You said you guys were friends"
Taehyung sighed in defeat. "Yeah, I know but---" and when he saw Hania's hands-on Jungkook's suit, fixing the little collar, ghosting over the material longer than Taehyung's visual comfort he was done holding himself, "What the fuck!", he gritted his teeth.
With quick steps, he filtered through the crowd and interrupted the woman's hands in her movement, "Off your hands from him"
The woman raised her eyebrow at that, "and why?"
"Because--because--", he didn't know what excuse he had to shove her away like that from Jungkook. He felt helpless. The realisation struck him from all directions, crumbling him under its pressure. He felt suffocated. How to claim his love in front of so many people? The fears of the past crept into his mind once again. Playing tricks with his thoughts. And all that made his heartache. The pain was crushing.
