3rd Person P.O.V.

As Alpha Drake looked into the eyes of his mate, he couldn't look away. He was so happy for her to be awake and alive! That is, until he saw her eyes.

Serena's eyes held many emotions and Drake could see them all. There were many he didn't even know what to call but he recognized some.

There was pain, as she was just injured a week ago and the memories of abuse. There was depression as she looked around the room and realized that her family wasn't there.

He saw a burning anger within her eyes as she beheld him, remembering the rejection. Remembering the pain he cause both her and her family... And there was hatred.

Serena's P.O.V.

That freaking man-whore! Who does he think he is?! How could he do this to me and my family?!

To see a caring look in his eyes is sickening. All the pain and torture he puts me and my children through! Yet he still believes that i will run back to him? I think not!

I allowed all my feelings to show in my eyes as i continued to struggle slightly under the leather bonds. I knew he could see my loathing for him as he flinched from my gaze.

"Where are THEY?! Where are my CHILDREN?! How dare you take them from me? How could you do this to me and my family after all the pain you caused us? I can't even feel the mind-link anymore! The only reason i can tell that they are alive is because we are blood-bound! What did you DO?!" I ended in a deathly quiet voice.

He honestly looked startled for a second but then he answered.

"They joined my pack with the requirement that i save you..." Drake trailed off as he saw my face.

"Where are they?"

"Ah, ah... They are in your old room..." He said slowly and carefully.

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?! How could you leave them in a damp, cold room that has dried blood on almost everything? They are still children YOU DUMB *SS!" I shrieked.

In all honesty, it's like he wants his throat torn out. I mean, who puts 14 year-olds in a dungeon they called my room?! It's insanity!

"There is also the fact that they refuse to eat...

That is it! I am not going to be restrained from killing this abuser who calls himself an Alpha!

I felt no pain as i shifted. It felt good to get revenge but...

I wanted to torture him some more. Haha, i love the fact that i will be able to kill him easily.

I heard the bonds snap as my body changed into that of a silky, soft white wolf. I looked into Drake's eyes as all my wounds closed within seconds. Ha! He actually looked scared! And i mean the 'I'm gonna pee my pants' kind of look.

This is going to be fun!

Drake's P.O.V.

Serena... How could she think that?...

Now I'm worried because she has this crazed look in her eyes. It's as if she wants to murder me where i stand.

I glance away for one second to find that the door is closed... No easy escape for me then.

I snapped my head back around when i heard a ferocious growl and the special bonds break. Those bonds could bind an Alpha, even if he shifted- What the hell?!

Serena now stood before me in her pristine white pelt and fear struck me in the gut as i looked closer.

Her eyes were now a vibrant red full of bloodlust. Then there are the flames at the end of her tail and paws. How could she not be affected by it?

As i started backing away in fear... A snarl was ripped from her throat and the flames covered more of her body. This was really getting out of hand.

'Get the twins up to Serena's room NOW! It's the only thing that will calm her down and not get me killed!' I mind-linked the pack. They really better get here soon or I'm afraid that i will be toast, literally.

'On it Alpha'

Suddenly i could hear a ruckus down stairs. In that second that i let myself be distracted Serena lunged.

Her teeth dug into my thigh. I could feel her canines going in inch by inch. It was excruciating and i knew she was prolonging it.

Thats when the door just happened to open with people running everywhere. Serena stood over me but not in a protective way. No, this was territorial possession over a kill.

Doctor Mali came in with the twins behind her. All three had a furious expression as they looked at me.

"Mama, are you okay?" Falon asked. The people surrounding us stared at her like she was insane. I couldn't blame them either. I was the one bleeding, injured, and her brother.

I looked back to Serena as she gave a wolfy smile to the trio. Her head snapped back to me and let out a low growl.

Time seemed to stop as i looked into her eyes. That is, before she quickly and efficiently carved an 'S' onto my torso. It was even deep enough to scar. Damn that hurts!

Serena quickly jumped off of me and the paramedics ran over.

The last thing i saw before they sedated me was Serena running to my siblings and one of my men attaching a witch's shackle to her ankle.
