Dear, Baldwin, December 6, 1170
I will indeed be home for Christmas, in fact, I hope to be home a few days before then. Tell father that I also send my love and regards, I am always thinking of you two. My studies have been going well and I hope to finish soon. My teacher also loves to find ways to keep me studying in some way. I think teachers enjoy seeing us learning ourselves to insanity. I'm glad to hear that you like reading, if you tell me your favorite topics to read about I could get you a few books for Christmas, how does that sound? Regarding the situation you spoke of in your last letter, yes, I do think that you should tell father, or someone. It sounds like something serious, and even if it is not, it is better to be safe than sorry. I'm very happy to know that you have horseback riding to look forward to, and I think that you'll be the best rider in all of history! I know you can do it, I believe in you. I hope to see and hear from you soon,
- Your sister, Sibylla
