Thank you for reading my story and could you please leave a comment underneath telling me how I can improve. But not on my punctuation and spelling. On parts of the story, like if you think something could be described better or if it was too sudden.
Thanks
SnowySchool was another piece of hell in my life. Most people would say school is boring but fun when you meet up with friends and mess with the teachers heads. I say hell. I'm not the type of person people talk to. Most people don't even know I exist, well apart from when I get shoved into a locker. Then they go on about their day and won't even think about it. But i will think about it all day. I will go home and cry in the empty house that I live in.
If they knew what I was they would not believe me. They would call me a freak, not that they don't already do that. At night I change. I become something amazing and dominant, something that could easily crush them, something they thought only existed in stories and films. I become a wolf. Technically I was a werewolf but my kind hated that word.
Every night, I would run out of my house and shift. I become a fairy tale. And then I would run and run. I would run through countries and forests. I would run for miles and back. I run alone. This is my patch. I live alone. I live as a lone wolf.
My parents were murdered by Death Walkers two years ago. What are Death Walkers? They are the hunters of the wolf shifters, like me. It's in their blood. They hunt my kind, their kind. But the Death Walkers don't see that they are basically hunting their own blood.
I have lived alone since I was 15. If school wanted to see my parents my only friend, would come in as my mum. When my mum died, she left me in the care of her human friend Madge. She constantly persisted that she should come live with me, she knew my secret but I couldn't put her in danger.
My 16th birthday is coming up but I'm still at school. I know I don't even have to go to school but I made my parents a promise that I would. And I always keep my promises.
------------------------------------------------chapter 1--------------------------------------------------------
It's Monday morning and I have to go to school. I looked at the clock. Six o'clock. When I stood up, I realized that I was in my kitchen. Great, I must have crashed out before I could get to my bed. And I was also covered in mud.
Before I shift, I have to take off my clothes or they get shredded in the transformation. I went and started the shower.
I arrived at school to find the bell had already gone and I was late. We had just had winter break.
As I walked through school I felt a shiver run up my spine and I only felt that when I knew something was wrong or someone was watching me but the school seemed deserted. I walked to my home room. No one noticed as I slipped in. Everyone was talking. I took my usual place at the back and started to draw.
"OK kids, sit down in the chairs and stop talking, we don't want detentions already," Mr Thompson walked in trying to get people to do as he asked which rarely happened but today they did. Had they all caught some illness? They never did as they were asked.
Sir looked as shocked as me.
" O-OK then. Register." He sat down and started calling names.
I noticed everyone whispering. This is when i pulled my hair back from my face and used my wolf hearing. (even if i wasn't in wolf form, i had amazing sight and hearing)
"Have you heard? There is a new kid, and he is hot," I heard some girl say. I didn't make an effort of remembering names.
So that was why everyone was so different. There is a new guy, the girls go nuts and dump there boyfriends and guys get jealous. Typical.
After that I tuned out and went through the rest of tutor in a daze. When the bell went. I jumped up and left as soon as possible.
I started to walk to science when I saw him. He was 6" at least, muscular, tanned and hair as black with a hint of blue like the night sky. He seemed to be staring straight at me but I didn't care. Then he turned around and walked down the corridor.
When I got to science, I sat down and pulled out my books. I opened up the page we were last on and started to write out the work. By the time people started to arrive, I had finished the page.
"Ok class, I want you to open your books to page 82," Mr Sanders shouted above the noise, rubbing his hands together. I kept my head down. the seating arrangement was 4 to a table apart from the 2 seater at the back where I sat alone.
"And who are you?" I heard Mr Sanders ask. I looked up slightly. The new guy had just arrived to science. Great! that meant he was in most of my lessons.
"Josh Senton, my apology's for being late. It is my first day," I wouldn't talk like that if I were you, I thought, that's the kind of thing that will get you too much of the bad attention.
"Well Mr Senton, we only have one seat left," Oh god. Not next to me. Not next to me. "Here next to Elena," I sank down low. God NO. Everyone snickered and said poor him or who is that girl.
"Sir, I am sure he would be happier at our table," Melanie Talner stood up and spoke. She was your basic queen of the school. Mr Sanders looked at Melanie.
"I'm afraid there is no space at your table Melanie. He will be just fine here," He answered, leading 'Mr Senton' to my table. Why is this happening to me?
Reluctantly, he sat down next to me. I scotched away from him up against the wall waiting for the comments and 'jokes'. They never came.
The rest of the day was like science. I would sit down alone at the back and he would be made to sit next to me. By lunch, I was exhausted. I had sat through the lessons with one hand in a fist and the other one writing, my jaw clenched. The last lesson I had today was art.
Yet again I had to sit next to Josh. I started to draw. A dark wolf in front of a moon.
"Hey, that is really good," I jumped out of my skin. I looked up and then next to me. Josh was looking down at my work. I continued to draw in silence.
"Don't you speak?" he asked. I was totally freaked out. No one ever talked to me. i dropped my pencil and put my hands under the desk. I clenched my hands into hard fists.
"I never have anyone to talk to," I stared down at my work. We sat in silence, me frozen and him drawing. After a while he lifted his work and showed it to me.
"What do you think?" It was a drawing of me.
"You might want to stop talking to me and you might want to get rid of that," I said staring at it. He had drawn me when I had been drawing and even slightly tinted my red hair and blue eyes. He was going to end up the school loser if he did more stuff like this.
"Now why would I want to do that?" he looked at my face but I didn't look back.
"Because if you want any life at this school you will stick with them." I looked at Melanie and her group.
"It will be fine. They're to busy trying to crawl into my pants to notice," For the rest of the lesson we didn't speak.
Some small changes have been made on this chapter. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thanks
Snowy
