Elsa's POV

I was standing on the balcony of Arendelle castle, looking down on the town. Suddenly, a colorful vortex opened up in the sky, and someone fell out of it. I blinked a couple of times. I must be dreaming. This was one of my memories. The memory of when I first saw Jack.

I kept watching, waiting for him to fly towards the castle, but he just kept falling. And falling. And falling. He was going to crash!

I closed my eyes, and when I opened them again I was somewhere different. I was in the Arendelle castle library with Anna and Jack. Jack and Pitch Black were fighting. But this time, instead of winning, Jack was losing.

Suddenly, Pitch stabbed Jack with a black knife. I screamed as Pitch killed Anna too, and then turned to look at me. I slowly backed up.

"This is just a dream. This is just a dream," I chanted. Pitch smirked.

"Oh Elsa, you of all people should know that dreams are never just dreams," He said. I continued backing up until I ran into a wall.

"This is just one of your nightmares Pitch. You're just having a little fun with my dreams," I said. Pitch continued to walk forward, then stopped a couple of feet away from me. He changed shapes, turning into his Jack form. He looked exactly like Jack, other than his hair and eyes.

"They say that dreams can come true, but they forgot to mention that nightmares are dreams too," Pitch said, beginning to walk closer again. He reached out a hand and grabbed my throat, slowly strangling me. I gasped and tried to break free, but it was pointless. My vision started to go black, and I felt myself slipping away...

"That's it, breath Elsa!" I heard Anna say. I gasped and opened my eyes. I was in my quarters at the North Pole. Jack and Anna weren't dead. Pitch wasn't chocking the life out of me. But it certainly felt like he had been. I rubbed my neck and winced.

"I've never seen anyone manage to nearly hang themselves with their blankets in their sleep," Anna said with a weak smile. But it was obvious she was worried.

"Thanks Anna," I managed to say. She stood up.

"Are you sure you're ok?" She asked.

"I'll be fine," I said while rubbing my neck.

"Well, everyone else is out and about. I'll be with North and Tooth in the workshop if you need me," She said, walking towards the door. She looked at me one more time before stepping out and closing it behind her. I sighed and sat up in bed.

That wasn't the first time I had dreamed about something horrible happening to Jack and Anna and Pitch showing up. But this was the first time I had almost died while I was sleeping. It was terrifying.

I got dressed in a pink dress with white lace designs and put on a beautiful baby blue snowflake necklace. It was made of ice, and Jack had given it to me about a month ago. Now that I lived with the Guardians, I preferred 21st century clothes to my old royal dresses. Anna was the same way.

I made my bed and went down the hall to the kitchen where Jack and Bunny were talking. To me, they seemed like friends who just hated to admit it. I had seen how they acted when the other person was in trouble.

"Hey Elsa," Jack said when I walked into the kitchen. I smiled slightly, then sat down at the table. One of the elves poured me a bowl of cereal.

"Elsa, Anna told us about what happened. Are you sure you're ok?" Jack asked.

"We're here for ya if you ever need anything mate," Bunny added.

"I'm fine. Just a bad dream is all," I explained. But I didn't believe my own words. My dreams weren't just bad dreams. They were visions.

Pitch was going to strike again soon.
