Chapter 1

Tess's POV

"Hey, T," Lila greets. My sister, Lila, picks me up after school everyday. Well, we're in the same school. Lila has a car and I don't. Not fair.

"Hey Lila," I greet back. Her light brown hair is pulled back into a messy ponytail falling messily into her face and over her shoulders onto her dark green off the shoulder top. Dark Guess sunglasses cover her chocolate brown eyes. Her light pink lips purse tightly as she strides in dark flared jeans and green Nikes. Fiddling with her keys, she turns to me.

"Well?" She asks, placing her hands on her hips.

"Well what?" I ask, tilting my head to the side. My dirty blonde hair falls slightly over my face, but quickly gets blown back my the wind.

"How was your day?" She giggles, turning back toward her car and unlocking it.

"Good," I answer, jogging to the other side and opening the passenger door. I toss my backpack in the back seat and plop down in the dark brown leather seats.

"Wanna stop by MD before we go home?" She questions, buckling her seat belt as I do the same.

"Sure, I'm hungry," I answer as she starts the car. MD stood for McDonalds. A new thought fluttered into my mind. "Kill Anthony, yet?" Anthony was her killer. When you have a killer, you either kill him or he'll kill you. No one wants a killer.

"Oh yea. Anthony's as good as dead," she answers, sighing. That sigh was a sigh of relief. Anthony was a crazy killer. I hope I don't get one soon. Anthony looked like the mad hatter from Alice In Wonderland. Weird.

"I want a southern chicken style burger," I say, pointing at the menu as she drives up.

"Drink?" She asks.

"Um... Diet Coke."

"Hello, I need a southern chicken style burger with a diet coke. Also I need another southern chicken style burger with a dr. Pepper-" muffled voice. "Er... Yes-" more muffled voice. "Thank you."

"Yum," I lick my lips thinking about the chicken. Lila pulls up to the window as the person hands us our food. I gasp and cover my mouth with my hand. The person handing us our food looks a whole lot like Anthony.
