Chapter 4: Love Life

After a year of tireless work...

The Dark Lord remained engrossed in his experiment within the confines of his cave.

"Aaah, I thought it would be complete in just six months, but I still can't see its end," he sighed with a tinge of frustration.

Luise looked at him with a smile and suggested, "Why don't you take a little break?"

A sinister grin appeared on the Dark Lord's face as he replied, "You're right, kekekeke."

Unease filled Luise's heart as she saw the Dark Lord approaching towards her. Subconsciously, she took a step back and stammered, "Wh-What are you trying to do?"

"Kekeke, I'm just going to take a little break," he playfully responded.

"Didn't I say that you'll be my wife once you stabilize your god realm? Now is the time," he said, smiling at her.

Blushing, Luise couldn't meet the Dark Lord's eyes.

He gently took Luise's hands in his hands and gazed into her eyes. Then, he lifted her chin up, making her look at his eyes directly.

"Are you willing, Luise?" he asked with love in his eyes.

"Yes, even in death, I am willing," she replied without hesitation.

Suddenly, the very fabric of the universe seemed to shift around them. Luise found herself suspended in mid-air, amidst the vast expanse of the cosmos. A tremendous force, accompanied by a chilling dark aura from the Dark Lord, enveloped them both, but to her surprise, it felt surprisingly gentle, as if the power recognized and cherished her presence.

Under the imposing power of the Dark Lord, both he and Luise seemed to be enveloped in an awe-inspiring display of strength.

Sensing the pressure radiating from the Dark Lord and Luise, beings from across the universe began to gather in space.

"Look, it's the Dark Lord!"

"Wow, today, I finally saw the Dark Lord with my own eyes. I can die without regrets now."

"But why is he holding a girl's hand?"

Looking at him holding Luise's hands, many girls felt their hearts getting broken into pieces.

As everyone assembled, the Dark Lord scanned the crowd and declared with confidence in his eyes, "Today, I, Dark Lord, shall marry the girl I love the most. The one who has been with me through the happiest, saddest, and most dangerous times."

Looking deeply into Luise's eyes, he asked, "Will you give me the pleasure of being with you forever? Will you become my wife?"

With unwavering resolve, Luise met the Dark Lord's gaze and said, "No."

The entire gathering erupted in shock.

What was happening?

Someone had dared to reject the Dark Lord?

Yet, amidst the commotion, the Dark Lord remained smiling.

"Pleasure will be mine, my Dark Lord," Luise said, still smiling.

"When my clan abandoned me, you were the only one who accepted me without expecting anything in return. You are everything to me."

"I, Luise, am willing to be with you in life and even beyond death," she declared firmly.

With a smile, the Dark Lord gazed deeply into her eyes, with his own eyes filled with affection and sincerity. "Luise, you have made me the happiest being in all the realms," he whispered.
