My Loveship

“Should I wear the blue top tomorrow or the red?” I ask my best friend Jake.

“Cas, for the last time I am a boy. I really don’t care.” He looked back at the tv.

Jake and I have been best friends since we were born. Our parents went to college together so obviously we would be best friends. 

I jumped on the bed and crawled over to him and put my head in his lap. “Jakey..please! I need to know which one I look better in.” I gave him my puppy dog eyes as he started playing with my hair. “Ok I’d say blue because it gives you the prettyness the red gives off the sexy vibe. Start out cute then whip out the sexy.” He said staring down at me. Did he really just call me sexy? And whoa when did his eyes get so blue and pretty?

“Ok yea I..uh..I’ll go with the blue.” I got up smiling. What the hell just happen? I pulled out my white shorts and put them on my chair making sure I was ready for tomorrow.

“So C, what are you looking forward to most about senior year?” He asked as he patted the part next to him. I crawled over and cuddled up next to him looking at the tv. 

“Well we are finally the big kids on campus and we rule the world. We get to apply to colleges and be amazing!” I said smiling turning my attention back to FRIENDS. 

“I can’t wait to be team captian.” Oh I should mention even though we are best friends, we aren’t the same. 

Jake has blue eyes and light brown hair. He is captain of the football team and quarter back. He is Mr. Popular everyone loves him. He is nice to everyone and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He fits in with everyone. Oh did I mention he is rather fit? Yea he is.

I, Cassie, have long blonde hair and blue eyes also. I am slim, but I eat like a pig. I am the smart girl. I get along with everyone, except three of those Regina George bitches. They hate how close I am with Jake. I love being at school and reading, I even sometimes enjoy homework. I want to go to Harvard, well right now. I have my group of friends and I’m happy. 

I was broken out of my FRIENDS zone when I felt a vibrate. 

“Sorry.” mumbled Jake. He reached into his pocket and read the text message. “CASSIE!” he screamed at me. I tumbled off the bed.

“Jesus! What!” He couldn’t stop laughing. “Shut up! It wasn’t that funny!” I said hitting him.

“S..oo....rr...yyy” He got out in between laughs, once he cooled down he said, “Wanna go to a party? Adam's throwing a last day of summer party. please please please?” He said begging. 

“Well you know I can’t resist when a man begs.” He started jumping up and down all excited. “On one condition.” I say smiling.

“Oh god what..”

“You help me choose an outfit.”
