Too close

They were so close, their lips could touch if they inched just a little closer... but they both pulled back.

A story where MBC loves to see Boys love and Myungjae and Hanbin are the targets. They somehow even manage to exceed the entertainment's expectations, but in the spur of moments, Myungjae is left worried and confused. Will their friendship stick, or will it be torn and shredded, or maybe... just maybe... love will grow and bring them closer than ever...

When the staff asked them to go closer to each other, he hadn't expected the both of them to share the same idea to go really close to each other, the distance between them so short that they were almost touching each other.

Jin Myungjae, an awkward boy from head to toe, had only one thought in his mind when he came to the show, Fantasy Boys, and it was basically the same for all the participants there, to debut. Although he had asthma, he was determined to show everything he has.

However, when Myungjae was placed in the third grade, he was panicking for his life. Although he knew that his performance wasn't as good as some of the other contestants, he had hoped for at least a second grade, but as he sat down on the hard surface of the steps, he felt despair and disappointment.

Even worse, when they announced that the third grades couldn't immediately go to the dorms like the second and first grades, it was as if his blood dried up and he was unable to think.

Myungjae knew he had to work hard, for only five out of twenty of them were able to enter the dorm. He was determined to make the effort to stand out and perform well.

When Myungjae was announced as one of the five that got in, he was so relieved that he fell to the ground, his thanks to the fantasy makers all muttering under his breath in alleviation. Because of the fantasy makers, he was able to perform in many songs.

One day, the staff ushered him to a table to pick his favourite. He struggled to make a decision, but in the end, his mind remained on the one person that he had begun to be close to.

Lee Hanbin, who was in the same song as him during 'Not Today' by Bts, the person he could only describe as his soulmate.

Myungjae had chosen him as his favourite and could only hope that Hanbin had chosen him as well, because if he didn't, that would be really sad for him.

Fortunately for him, the staff had congratulated him, saying that Hanbin had also chosen him as his favourite. Myungjae couldn't help but jump for joy, because great minds think alike, right?

That day, they met each other in the park, exchanging silly smiles to each other.

They were sitting next to each other, but the staff had wanted them to go closer, so Myungjae decided to turn his head and shift closer, not expecting the other to move as well, making them too close to each other, their heads tilted and their eyes meeting. They immediately pulled away in laughter as the staff says that they were a bit too close.

Myungjae didn't know how to feel at the moment since it lasted for only for a few seconds, Hanbin's sharp eyes staring at him made him want to do cartwheels, and the other's smile made him smile along. They thereafter for pictures together, laughing at everything they did.

They compared the size of their hands, realising that they are the same, although Myungjae wasn't very focused on their hand sizes, rather concentrating on the fact that their hands were touching each other. Hanbin's hand was warm like the sun, but it was like a healing kind of warmth that made the other feel safe.

They were made to complement each other with Hanbin starting. "You better say the right things." Myungjae had said, making Hanbin nod with a grin. "Got it~" The male uttered.
