"Yes." there was no hesitation in my voice. Of course I wanted to, I had so much more to do, so much more I wanted to do.

Another notification sounded as the message on the screen changed.
[Then I welcome thee, Player. You shall be assigned a System soon. Close your eyes, and I will give you the chance to live.]
With that, my eyes became heavy, and so I obeyed.
I closed my eyes for what might be the last time.
