Azula and Ayumi are twin sisters. They have two brothers, Senjuro and Kyojuro. Unlike their siblings, they have black hair with red tips. When they were young, Ayumi would always mess Azula's neatly placed figurines, Azula would get back at her by slapping her and ruining her katanas.
The girls would always look up to their older brother, Kyojuro as he taught them how to fight demons. Most of the time, it was good until their mother died. Their father would beat them for their ambition for wanting to become demon slayers.
After a few years of the same torture, the girls ran away from home with their brother Senjuro. They had found a cabin in the middle of the woods one night. After setting up, they ate then went to bed. During the night, a demon came into the cabin. Ayumi came quick to her senses and quickly reached for her katana and jumped up to attack the intruder.
Before she could reach it, it took a swipe at Azula's left eye. Blood went everywhere." Get off my sister!" She shouts, swiping at the demons neck. Unfortunately, she misses." Hah nice try kid." It cackles before launching an arm behind it, cutting her ear.
It turns to Ayumi, smiling villainously. In a blink of an eye, she found her right eye in agony. She could hear crying from behind the demon. The demon turns to Azula who was bawling her eye out which gave Ayumi the perfect opportunity to strike. The next second, the demon's head hits the floor.
"Azula!" Ayumi shouts, waking Senjuro up, as she pulls her into a hug." My eye! It hurts! I can't see anything through it!" Azula whines." What happened?!" A panicked voice from behind asks." Azu-Azula's eye." Ayumi whines." Come here." Senjuro orders, ripping off some of his shirt, handing it to Azula." Are you hurt Ayumi?" He asks, her replying with," My right eye hurts but I'm fine." Earning a nod from Senjuro.
As they were all huddled up, trying to concoct a plan, they all heard loud footsteps approaching the cabin. The three siblings just sat, their eyes burning holes into the door. As the door handle moved, Ayumi hovers her hand over her katana. The door opens quickly to reveal...
There. Standing in the door, was their brother, Kyojuro Rengoku." I've been alerted by father that you three ran away." He says, avoiding his gaze from his siblings." Where is the demon?" He asks, now looking at the three siblings huddled up, not being able to see the condition they were in," it's dead. Ayumi killed it." Senjuro exclaims, standing up, trembling in fear." Senjuro. Are you hurt?" Rengoku asks, his eyebrows furrowing at the sight of his little brother's hand covered in blood," No, it did attack Azula though, she may need a doctor. Her eyes bleeding."
Rengoku quickly pushes past Senjuro, then picked Azula up," Come on, we are going to the butterfly mansion. Hurry up." He orders as the other siblings follow behind him.
" Are we nearly there yet?" Ayumi moans," My ear also hurts ya know, not to mention this blood on my eye! It keeps hurting my eye! I think it may have dried up on it!" Senjuro adds," Yeah brother! I'm freezing and tired! How come Azula gets to be carried and sleep!" Rengoku turns a corner," Here Senjuro, you can wear my haori. I don't really need it."
As they turned up to the butterfly mansion, a woman stepped out of the door." Ara ara~ Rengoku-san, your friend looks like she needs medical attention. Bring her in~" the woman opens the door and disappears into the mansion.
Without thinking, Ayumi runs off towards a mansion." Ayumi!" Senjuro shouts, running after her." Senjuro! Come on! She'll come back!" Rengoku grabs onto the back of Senjuro's haori and starts dragging him inside the building.
As Ayumi ran off towards the mansion, she tripped over and landed on her face, blood starting to pour from her nose." Crap." She mutters, but gets up and continues running." Excuse me!" A voice from behind shouts. Ayumi stops and turns to see a really pretty pink and green haired woman. She tilts her head as the woman asks," Are you ok? Are you lost?" Ayumi nods before bowing and running off again.
