Chapter 5

I still sat there in horror and shock as he walks away from me. I still can't believe what he said. With that evil smirk. I thought all he knew how to do was glare and scowl at people. I guess I was wrong. Vanessa and Veronica sit in shock too staring at me like I have three heads.
"What was that, when did you get that brave?" Vanessa asks.
"I-I-I don't know!" I answer truthfully.
"I told you he was bad news." Veronica shakes her head. "Why did you say that?!"
"I don't know, I was just really pissed off at how rude he was being." I say trying to explain myself.
"He really does scare me, what do you think he meant when he said you'll regret that?" Vanessa asked, panicking by the second.
Staying calm I try to answer truthfully, "I don't know, but I don't think I want to find out."
It is only the second day of school and I already know this year is going to be a trip from hell.

The school day went on like how it did yesterday only now we are being introduced to the lessons. I tried to focus and concentrate on what the teachers were saying, but all I could think about what Harry said.
I was already on edge from our little "meetings" yesterday, now this just made it worse.
What did he mean when he said that I would "regret that"?
Regret what? All I did was tell him off like someone should have a long time ago. Will he make my life a living hell? Would he actually bully me like that?
With all these thoughts consuming my mind I barely noticed the last bell of the day ring.
"C'mon Amy we need to hurry before my sister leaves. And I DON'T want to take the bus!" Vanessa yells at me from the door of the classroom.
"Coming" I say while throwing all my stuff in my bag.
We make it to Vanessa's sister's car just in time to leave.
The drive to Vanessa's house is very tense and awkward. None of us speak. Not even Vanessa's sister and she NEVER stops talking. It's like she could feel that something went wrong with us today even though she does not know about what Harry said to me earlier.
But Vanessa's sister does know what Harry is like and what he is capable of so she does not bring up the topic.
Once we get to Vanessa's house we thank her sister for the ride and head up to her room. Once we're up there we just sit in silence for a couple of minutes until Veronica speaks up.
"This is bad, this is so bad!" She sighs while tugging on her hair. A habit she formed when we were younger.
"I know, I've been thinking about it all day." I say laying back onto Vanessa's bed.
"What are we going to do?!!" Vanessa asks stuffing her face into a pillow.
"Oh I don't know stay away from him!" Veronica snaps.
"Uh we already tried that and that OBVIOUSLY did not work!" I retort back.
"Okay that's enough both of you, we don't need to turn on each other!" Vanessa yells at both of us.
Me and Veronica both shut up after that. We all decide to wait it out and see what happens. After that we do our home work and watch t.v. We also go on youtube and watch some Connor Franta videos to try and lighten the mood.
Vanessa's mom asked me to stay for dinner but I politely declined because I know how my mom gets when I come home late!
I say goodbye to the girls and walk outside to see none other than Harry Styles himself standing in front of a house a couple doors down!
