That one date turned into two dates then before I knew It, Riker was moving in with me. As he brings in the first box, I feel my emotions running higher than they had since that first date. "Hey baby girl." I give him a small smile. He puts down the box and comes over to me. I look up to him and lay my head on his chest, as I feel his arms go around me, i realized that this is the first time I have been this happy for a long time. " you know I'm not leaving not now, not ever." Riker says kissing my head. I smile knowing that he means it. "Aww look at the lovebirds." Rocky says as he comes in the door with Ross and Laura right behind him. Riker smiles and let's me move away from him but for once I didn't. I wasn't one to show my love for anyone out in the open but with Riker, he made me believe I won't get hurt. "Rocky leave them alone." Alexa says as she puts a box next to us before they all walk out the door. "You didn't pull away." Riker says bringing his forehead to mine. "It's just one of the many things you have helped me with." I say looking into his eyes.
** that night**
As i cooked, Riker takes a shower. I can't help but think of all of the things we have to face soon. Yet as I hear Riker singing in the shower, I can't help but smile subconsciously, it was truly the little things that make me love Riker, the way he would bring movies and pizza over after a long day of school. or that he still comes to my little set at that cafe every Thursday he is In town. I feel two arms rap around me and a head on my shoulder. "What are you thinking, Mel?" Riker asks just above a whisper. "You, what else?" I say as I put the food on the plates before turning to face him, seeing a shirtless Riker standing two feet away from me. I had seem Riker shirtless before, only one or two times, we had never done anything other than making out. I wasn't ready to take that step in our relationship get but I do love Riker. "Babe, are you ok?" I look up to Riker's face. "What? Yeah, I'm fine." I say taking the plates in the living room where I had put one of Riker's favorite movies in the DVD player along with his favorite candy, pop and popcorn. Riker follows me into the room. I look around thinking if there was anything I had forgot about... "Amelia, you didn't have to do all this." Riker says sitting down before pulling me onto his lap. "I know but I wanted to. This is your home too." I say kissing his cheek. Riker smiles as he brings me into a kiss. 'Good girls, never let you see them cry' I grown as I hear my phone ring, pulling away from the kiss and pulling my phone out of my pocket. I look at the contact name -Mom- before tossing it to the other end of the couch. Riker picks it up, looking at it before putting it up to his ear. "Hello, your daughter is too busy being happy to come to the phone right now." Riker smirks at me. "Oh this is that stupid boyfriend she said she had. I know you'll leave in like two weeks" I hear my mom say and I can see Riker's eyes turn to fire. "Unlike you, I don't have any plans of leaving her. Bye now" As he puts the phone down, I pull him into a very passionate kiss.
