Number Five One-shots (Umbrella Academy)

~Empty bed~

You yawned, opening your eyes slowly. Groaning sleepily as you moved your arms and stretched them over your head.

That's when you noticed, with a frown, that Five was not next to you.

You rubbed your eyes before opening them fully, and then looked over at the spot next to you.

It was messy, the sheets were crumpled and the pillow had the indent of some sort, indicating to you that someone was sleeping there recently.

You brought your hand to the empty surface next to you. It was still slightly warm. He hadn't left too long ago.

Grabbing his pillow, your brought it to your face and inhaled deeply.

It smelled of coffee and Five's cologne, the familiar smell bringing you some comfort.

Your squeezed it tightly to your chest, sighing softly.

You still felt tired.

And all you wanted right now, was to cuddle Five

"Fivvvveee" you called, after a moment of hugging his pillow, "where did you go?".

You waited for a minute, but got no response. Furrowing your brown, and pouted softly.

"Fiiiivvee!" You called again, a little louder this time.

When you once again, got no response. You huffed and buried your face into the pillow, giving up.

That's when you heard the familiar sound of Five spacial jumping.

But you didn't look up. You continued to hug the pillow close to your chest.

As you heard him approach, you smiled into the pillow. Letting out an over dramatic huff.

Five started to chuckle, making your smile grow. But you covered it up with a pout as you raised your head, looking up at him.

You were not going to just let go of the fact that Five left bed before you got up, and didn't respond to your calls for him.

"What's wrong love?" Five asked you, eyebrows furrowed slightly, a small smile on his face.

"Why weren't you in bed?" You mumbled out, "I want cuddles". You made grabby hands at him and he chuckled at the sight.

"I'm sorry love, I'll come back to bed now" he said, a grin growing on his face.

He climbed into bed and you immediately embraced him tightly. "I was calling you..." you mumbled into his clothes.

Five left a soft kiss on your forehead, "I'm sorry Love" he whispered, rubbing his hand on your back.

Five shuffled into a more comfortable position, before covering you and him with a blanket.

"I'm here now though" he said with a smile. You looked up at him, "I guess so..." you said, trying to hide your smile.

You failed miserably, judging by the smug smile Five gave you.

You tried to act oblivious to his knowing smile, once again burying your head into his clothes.

You felt Five's chest vibrate as he let out an amused laugh. You sighed in defeat, before letting out a soft giggle. Joining Five in his laughter.

Five wrapped his arms around you, bringing you somehow even closer to him, before resting his chin on top of your head.

Sorry I'm not very consistent with posting 😅, I just think of ideas and post them when they're done.

Because, if I'm being honest, I'm running out of ideas.

Also, sorry for not responding to any comments, I'm trying to get better at that.
