*beep beep beep*
I smack the alarm that's going off. Alarms annoy the shit out of me but I gotta wake up one way or another, and the other is being woken up by my mother and trust me that's by far the worst torture method out there. I get up and slide into my slippers. I'm still sleep deprived. I yawn as I slowly walk toward the bathroom and brush my teeth. I turn the Tap off and put my toothbrush away into the holder and I stare at my reflection in the mirror. I look... tired.
I wanna go back to sleep.
I head back toward my bed and sit down. I look at the time, 7:59 AM. I don't do anything but stare. 8:00 AM.
I jump out of bed and and walk straight out the door. I walk down the hallway, and then look to the side of me when I'm about to walk down the stares, I look to the big windows on the tall wall holding up my house. The view shows my alleyway, my neighbors houses, big bushes, the highway, the stores and shops, the trees, and then the sky, the sky is slightly orange, mostly from the fires happening nearby. I hear doors open and close, someone must be up. I then smell food. Perhaps it'd my grandma. I head downstairs, past the kitchen, into the spice kitchen, into the pantry and look for food for me to eat. No luck. I go back into the kitchen and look in the freezer, English muffins are always a go to. I open the freezer, and just then my grandma pops up from the corner desk infront of the hallway."What are getting?" She asks. I pick up the frozen packet of English muffins and shows it to her like im in in kindergarten, doing a show and tell and showing of my horse and unicorn toys. My grandma stares and without a word, she leaves back into the hallway. I continue what I was doing and I place the English muffins onto the table and take on out. My grandma comes back but she has something to say this time.
"You take toilet paper out of my bathroom right?" She asks.
"No." I tell her.
"You do, and so does your mother."
"No we do-"
"Yes you do. Stop taking toilet paper from me. I know you guys do. Take these, put one in your bathroom and put one in your mom's bathroom."She holds out two rolls of toilet paper and I have no choice but to take them. She leaves again. I don't know what to say, it's kind of amusing. I put the English muffin onto a bowl and place it into the microwave. 32 seconds for it to heat, and 32 seconds pass by. The microwave beeps louder than my alarm I take it out and head back to the spice kitchen to put the muffin into the toaster. I set the alarm for the toaster and leave. I have to go to the bathroom, periods are NOT fun, especially in the morning. As I'm leaving the kitchen i see my grandma sitting on the chair at the table holding a newspaper. I turn to the hallway behind the desk and go into the bathroom. I change my pad and do whatever I gotta do. (get over it it's normal stuff) and then I head back. My grandma's in the spice kitchen now. I look over to the English muffin and it's burnt. Not fully but, mostly. I grab it and it burns my hand buy I don't care. I place them Into the bowl.
"It's hard" (burnt). I say to my grandma.
"Oh really?, I heard it ring twice but I didn't take it out. Oh well, put some butter on it."
I sigh but I do put butter on it. I look out the window to my ally, but it's not empty. There's a boy.
