After our romantic getaway, we went back to Monaco and we spent most of the summer break there. We didn't really have any chance to be alone together because we were constantly surrounded by the team and John. I had to go back to school in September for my final year so I wasn't able to go to the races with the boys. The past couple of month were really hard with them away all the time but at least I could focus on my studies and my university applications. The end of November came and there is no chance that I will miss the last race in Abu Dhabi. I take a week off so I can go with them. The championship results are kind of obvious; Lewis will win his seventh title this year and I want to be there to support him and celebrate with him. The whole paddock goes crazy as he crosses the finish line and wins the race. We rush to the podium to congratulate him. He gets out of the car jumping up and down. I never seen him this happy before. He runs to us and hugs everyone he can reach. When he hugs me he whispers to my ear: We did it beautiful, I love you. My heart melts in my chest hearing his words. After the ceremony we go back to the hotel to get ready for the party. My brother said that this will be the biggest and most epic party that I have ever seen. Everyone in the Formula 1 world is invited. Before I start getting ready I sneak into Lewis' room to congratulate him as his girlfriend.
- Lewis, you were amazing! I am so proud of you for winning the championship! – I run to him.
- Thank you, beautiful. Although, I have to say that it wasn't me who did the hard part. Without the support of the team, it wouldn't have been possible and of course, you also played a big part in it. Backing me up and being patient with me. Thank you. I really love you. – he says.
- I love you too. – I give him a kiss. – Lewis, I think we should tell John about us. With the winter break coming, I want to spend as much time with you as possible and I don't want to keep lying to my brother.
- I agree. I have been thinking about this too. Should we do it now before the party?
- I think that's a good idea. He can get trashed to cope with the news. – I laugh.
- I don't think that he will freak out. Besides, he'll get wasted anyways, tonight will be huge.
We make our way to John's room. My hands are shaking, what if he doesn't accept us? What if he starts yelling and throws me out? My birthday is in two weeks; he can get rid of me any time after that. What will I do? We are standing in front of his door and Lewis smiles at me reassuringly.
- Are you ready? – he asks.
I nod and he enters the room. We thought that he will be alone getting ready for the party, however this is not the case.
- Johnny, can we talk to you... - starts Lewis but immediately stops.
Let's just say that my brother has a lady company over and they are both naked doing horizontal tango... The woman yells and pushes my brother off her.
- We are so sorry. – I say and I grab Lewis' hand and run out of the room.
I can't believe that happened. I never wanted to see my brother in that type of situation. I think the image burned into my mind and will cause me severe PTSD in the future. Besides, I didn't even know that he is dating someone.
- Well, I didn't expect that. – says Lewis when we get back to his room.
- Did you know that he is dating someone? – I ask.
- No, he never said anything. That was Tracey. You know her? She works in the PR department. She is sweet.
- Seriously? I know her, I just didn't recognise her without clothes. She is nice, we talked a few times. She even asked me about John and you. I should have realised...
We are interrupted by a knock and my brother comes into the room looking flustered.
- Hi guys, I ehm... sorry that you saw that. – he says with his cheeks burning red.
- Don't worry it about mate. Although, you could have told us about her. Is it serious or just something fun? – says Lewis.
- To be honest, it is fairly new. We went for a drink after the Brazilian GP and we hit it off. We are just seeing where this is going.
- But that was more than a month ago. – I say.
- Yeah... I was planning on introducing her to you after the race. I like her and I would be happy if we could do something together so you could get to know her.
- Of course, we've met her before and she seemed really nice. – I smile at him.
- We could set up a double date. – says Lewis trying to subtly tell my brother about us.
- Double date? – John asks.
- We went to your room trying to talk to you about something. You remember the British GP? – I say.
- How could I forget? Wait... - says my brother and I can see him putting the puzzle pieces together. – Does this mean that you have been dating for 5 months?
- Something like that. I know that this is a weird situation but I love your sister and I want to be with her. I hope you can understand that. – Lewis says.
- Love? Are you really this serious about each other? – he asks.
- Yes, I love him too. – I say.
- Does this mean that you will be my future brother-in-law? – smiles John.
- Very possible, mate. – laughs Lewis.
- I am actually happy for you guys. You both are very important people for me and I want the best for you. It took me by surprise in July but I had time to accept the idea of my sister dating and Lewis, you are the nicest person I know. I wish you the best. And Lewis, if you hurt her, you know that I will kill you, right? – he gives a deathly stare to Lewis.
I start laughing hearing his words and I can feel relief washing over me. He is not mad. Although, I think that Tracey plays a small part in that. My brother is high on happiness at the moment. I can't wait to meet her properly and also to spend time with Lewis over the break. It will be so much easier now that John knows about us.
Hello beautifuls! I am sorry for not updating for so long. I have been really busy and had no time to write. Also, I would be extremely grateful if you could encourage me with some comments because I don't really feel motivated enough... Do you like to story? Should I continue? Thank you for reading and I hope you are enjoying it. :)
