"Please, Kane... let me go," June pleaded, tears streaming down his face. He attempted to get up from the bed, but Kane paid no attention and continued to tend to his injured ankle.
"Please..." June's voice trembled with desperation.
Kane straightened his back and glared at him with a dark expression.
"Then love only me, June. Love only me," Kane demanded, but June shook his head in refusal.
June couldn't believe what was happening. "K-Kane... please, just let me go," he choked out between sobs.
"If I can't have you, then no one can," Kane declared, gripping the kitchen scissors tightly. Without hesitation, he brutally stabbed June in the neck. June's eyes widened in shock, tears streaming down his face, but he never took his gaze off Kane, who was also crying.
He collapsed to the ground and Kane knelt beside him, sobbing. Kane embraced him tightly, apologizing repeatedly.
As he slowly passed away, he reached out to touch Kane's cheek, wiping away the tears streaming down Kane's face.
With the light fading from June's eyes, Kane pressed a gentle kiss to June's cold, lifeless lips. "My love, you're mine, only mine and I'm only yours," he whispered, his voice breaking. Tenderly holding June's face as if it would break, he continued, "I loved you, June. I loved you more than anything. I can't imagine life without you..." Kane then kissed June's forehead softly, picked up the knife from the nightstand where he left there, and ended his own life by slitting his throat.
