Hale's POV

"When did you say you'd be back again?" Martha asked.

"I'll probably go to the library after class so I'm thinking 3 there? Yeah three."

"Good luck on your first day to class."

"Thanks,you too."

I entered room 201. Wow such an early bird,the room was empty. I got situated in the front row. Students shuffled in filling the seats,the professor had also joined us. I picked out my notebook and pen. A cute guy joined beside me.

"Sophia Wilson. "

"I'm Hale Paterson. "

We spoke about every little thing I got to know she was from North Carolina.

"Welcome to my class all new and old students. I'm professor Wingman and I'll take you through Consumer market analysis ."

He turned to the whiteboard and wrote, "prereq: a grade of 'C' or better in CBAD 350."

"Anyone has an idea what the marketing function is."

"Miss?"

"Miss Paterson, marketing function exists to bring buyers and sellers together in a marketplace to allow each party realize their desired outcomes."

"Thank you Miss Paterson."

"Now if you're studying Marketing as your major at the end of your journey you should be able to identify attractive markets, marketing institutions and international marketing, research methodology,consumer decision making and consumer decision making process, they're alot."

"So,consumer marketing analysis is a study of buying behaviour, both consumer and industrial..."

"Major?" The cute guy beside me asked

"Yeah and you?"

"Same. Arnav Kupta."

"Hale Paterson."

He nodded his head towards Sophia.

"Sophia Williams." She replied

"Study partners?"

I took his invited hand and shook on it, "study partners." Sophia did same as well.

"Marketing research processes includes
psychological,social and economic influences on buying behaviour, along with basic market research methods for analysing those influences.

I penned down the important stuffs he said.

"You have a beautiful penmanship."

"Thank you."

"Yes, Mr Ferrari."

"A question, Wingman."

"Go ahead."

"Are you in the music industry?" Soft giggles erupted in the room.

"Why do you ask?" Mr Wingman asked with one eyebrow up and a bored look.

"You rap better than Nicki Minaj,just saying." Laughter exploded. A small smile graced my lips.

"Ms Paterson (my heart skipped a beat) could you tell us the last thing I said before Mr Ferrari decided to interrupt."

"Erm..sure, your point was that marketers must align marketing strategies with the needs of consumers in the marketplace."

"Thank you Ms Paterson. This just proves to me that Mr Ferrari is slow and for that I'll take him into consideration the next time." The whole room burst out in laughter at Mr Wingman's comeback
