Chapter 1 - Getting ready

I woke up earlier than usual. I could hear Wendy snoring slightly.

I walked into her room and woke her up, reminding her we have college soon. After she was awake, she made her way over to the bathroom while I grabbed my clothes.

I'm going to wear a white turtleneck, a blue plaid skirt, white Maryjanes and a blue headband in my shoulder length blonde hair.

'I hope this looks alright for my first day..' I think to myself as I walk into the bathroom looking at what Wendy was wearing.

Wendy was wearing a formal white shirt tucked into a pastel yellow pencil skirt with a cropped purple jumper overtop, some long white socks, black heels and her pink beret from elementary to make her long gorgeous jet black hair stand out.

'She looks so much more formal than me..'

I wash my face and begin my makeup.

"I really hope Stan isn't in my lectures.. I dont think i can handle seeing him for a bit." Wendy begins.

She rants on about Stan and how much she doesn't want to see him and his 'Stupid face' after their billionth break up.

"I don't think he's smart enough to be in your lectures Wendy."

I try comforting her.

"You're doing law and business studies. It might be a little too much for his tiny brain to handle."

We both giggle.

"What subjects were you doing again marj?"

"Oh, I picked English Literature/poems and Art Design."

"Ooh, that reminds me of how you used to sit in class and write love poems about Kenneth, and draw him in your notebooks."

"WENDY!"

I shout in embarrassment as I cover my bright pink face.

she giggles as my face turns a darker shade of pink.

Time passes as we both continue our makeup.

"Wend? Can you give me over my mascara?"

She nods and grabs my mascara. She hands me it before beginning to put on her lip gloss.

"So, Marj.. What about Kenneth? Do you think he's going to college as well?"

I blush slightly at the name, and Wendy smirks.

"Well, I hope he is.. He hasn't seen me as Marjorine yet and I'd like to talk to him again."

'Oh, how I've missed seeing Kenny.. I wonder if he has gotten that mullet he was looking forward to when I last seen him. Gee, that was so long ago.'

"Marj? Are you theree?"

Wendy says as she waves her hand in-front of my face.

"Oh! Sorry Wendy.. I zoned out thinking about.."

"never mind!"

She smirks and pats my back, she looks up as if she remembered something.

"I forgot! Tolkien is having a party to celebrate later on."

"Oh hamburgers, okay!"

'My first college party.. I should try and make a good impression.'

"if kenneth is going, I'll find him and introduce you. He will absolutely love you. Im sure of it."

She smiles and pats my head before she walks out of the bathroom grabbing some fruit before she leaves.

I grab my lip gloss and put it on, I stuff it into my bag before running out the door so I'm not late.

<LITTLE AUTHOR NOTE>

I am finding writing this very calming and I hope you will like it as I've put alot of thought into this.

I will try post a chapter everyday if not, two chapters if I'm feeling extra, if Im busy ill make sure to make the next chapter longer than the last to make up for my absence.

Please comment on how you like the story so far and if I need to make any changes in the storyline.
