Nightmares

A/N: This is technically a Y/n X Mikey story, this is from The Ghost of You music video, about Mikey dy!ng in war. So this is a TW, about dy!ng and lossing someone you love

Y/N's POV:

It was a few days before going to war. I was hanging out with my boyfriend, Mikey, and some of his friends. We were all at the bar, having a fun time and talking about the upcoming war that we were all going to have to take part in. We promised each other that we will all make it through and get back together after everything.

I noticed that Mikey looked like he was overthinking about it. So I turned to him and asked, "Hey Mikey, you okay?" He nodded and said he's okay. "Don't stress about the upcoming war that we're taking part in. I promise that we will all make it through this." He smiled in response to what I said, so we turned our attention back to the group and continued to talk about different topics.

-Time Skip to the day of the battle.-

Y/N POV still:

It was the day of the battle, I was starting to slightly stress about what could happen. But I tried not to think about it too much. So we went on our way to fight, there was a call that we had to push forward towards the enemy. Most soldiers ran forward, including me and my boyfriend's friends. I noticed that Mikey didn't go forward yet, and I looked back to see where he was. I looked backed and my heart dropped, I saw that Mikey was shot right near his side or somewhere. A medic was trying to help him and stop the bleeding. My first instinct was try to run and help him, but his friends held me back. I'm guessing they probably knew what I was going to try and do...

He was gone..

I shot up and looked slightly terrified, Mikey was sitting up, reading a book. Before he looked over at me, with a confused look on his face. "Y/N? What's wrong?" He said to me, all I did was hug him, unable to respond to his question. He still a little confused but he tried to comfort me, eventually after a bit I told him everything that happened in the nightmare. "It was just a nightmare, Y/N, nothing back like that will happen. I promise." After that I tried going back to sleep, but that didn't really work well, so I just decided to stay up with Mikey. But after an hour or two, he fell asleep.

I still couldn't really fall asleep. So I decided just to go out to the living room and watch something. After a few more hours I realized that it was about 6:00am, and the sun was starting to rise. So I decided to get up and cook stuff for breakfast. It was about 6:35am when I finished, I made Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, and Pancakes. (Can be something different if you want) After that, I cleaned up a bit, just the kitchen and around the living room.

Mikey woke up an hour later, he appreciated me cooking breakfast and cleaning up a bit. And since we didn't really have to do anything that day, we decided to sit on the couch and watch some different shows and movies for a bit. Until we had to get up and go grocery shopping to get dinner, but didn't do anything to big for food shopping that day. Since we usually get two days worth of food that way we didn't have to go out everyday.

Horrible but a lot of work, I like it, even though it is bad, I at least made it.
