Imlie sneaks in a little squirming wild Kitty Cat into the Rathore Mansion, while Aryan rescues and brings Home an abandoned 1 Year Old Golden Retriever.
(Author's Note : takes place 2 years after Adi-Ni Wedding. AryLie are Boyfriend and Girlfriend, yet still in their clownery era.)
Imlie sneaked into the Rathore Mansion after a quick scan of the vast hall.
Arpi Di out for a party with Her Friends, Maa gone to visit Her Friend, House-Helps busy in their works, Akkadbagha Not in sight.
Perimeter Clear.
"Meow."
"Shh ! Not now, Mirchi !"
Imlie admonished the little wild Kitten - Mirchi - that She had rescued, who was squirming in Her hands, demanding to Imlie with Her big, curious eyes, to let go of Her so that She could go explore the surroundings.
"Imlie ? What's that in your hands ?"
Imlie startled at the familiar baritone, and glared at the owner of that voice -the one and only Aryan Singh Rathore, who had stealthily sneaked up on Her back - and held Mirchi close to Her, before finally noticing the 4th member in the Room, held back by Aryan with a fancy body harness.
"Bhow."
Mirchi snuggled closer to Imlie and hissed in response to the friendly bark of the Giant Gentle Golden Retriever Doggo, wagging His huge bushy tail in happiness, a huge ear-to-ear smile on His face.
"Imlie, this .. is Cheeku Singh Rathore. He just turned One Year Old. I had called you so many times to see if it was okay if I could bring Him Home. If you're Not picking up the Phone, then why do you carry it around, Gadhi ?"
"Woh... I was helping Mirchi here ! You know Akkadbaghe, I was walking Home when I heard her cries and when I looked up, I found Her stuck on that Huge, Huge Tree near the Junction, unable to get down. So I climbed up the Tree, put Her in My Bag, waited for some time for Her Mumma to come, and then rushed here when I could Not find Her."
"Imlie you climbed that Huge Tree ? Idiot ! You could have called the Fire Force ! Are you injured somewhere ! You could have fallen down, broken your limbs or back ! How can a Girl be so smart and so stupid at the same time !????"
"Hum ekdum phine hai ! 😯But Mirchi is Not Okay - She is very, very hungry ! I need to give Her Milk !"
"Ek minute. So you want 2 Pets at a time ! Tumhaara Junglipan koi Kam nahi hai - and now we have to deal with one more Jungli ?"
"Mirchi bahuti achhi bachi hai ! 😠"
"Yeah, that is exactly why She climbed up and got stuck on Top ! Not unlike You !"
"Dekho Akkadbaghe, Mirchi humri bachi hai ! And what do you mean "2 Pets" ? This Cheeku is also going to stay with us ? Kitnaa badaa hai yeh !"
"Sirf Cheeku nahi. Cheeku Singh Rathore. And He is Not Big - He just turned One Year Old. He's still a pup. He is a new arrival in the "Paw-Buddies" Animal Rescue&Shelter under Arvind Foundation. He was abandoned by His previous family, and I don't want to let Him go."
"He ... Was Abandoned !?? Why would anybody do that ! I... I guess He could stay ..... But a bit far from me ? He is too large !"
As if upon cue, Cheeku jumped and kept His front paws on Imlie's waist, sniffing out both Her and Mirchi.
Not liking the violation of personal space, Mirchi slapped Cheeku's Nose.
