Hey guys! So in our english class the other week we had to write a short story each we then combined it with the person we were sitting next to. I'd like to give a shout out to my friend Georgia, as she's the one whose story got mixed with mine.
I wake up, look at my door and think today is it, camping. I look at my alarm clock and realize my mum is coming to get me out of bed any minute now. Today is the day we go camping with the neighbors. I am regretting this as Lucy, their daughter, and I don't get along very well. I look around trying to figure out a reason not to go. As I look around I take note of a book lying on the ground with an image of a sickly person on the cover.
As soon as I do this there is a knock at the door and the person comes in. "Mum I'm not feeling to well I-" I splutter out then coming to the realization it was Lucy. "Sorry I don't think I can come today, I'm not feeling to well" I covered up as I got out of bed. I then notice she has a hand behind her back. I lean to the left trying to see what she was hiding only for it to be stuffed in my face. I blacked out with my last thought being 'Oh no, chloroform.'
Splash! I was awoken from what seemed to be water lightly spitting on my face, I then noticed I wasn't at home in the comfort of my own bed, Instead it felt like concrete. As I drifted back into contiousness, I heard the crackling of a fire near by. Alarmed I woke up to find it was a fire place. I then looked around noticing I was in a pretty empty room. "I'm amazed you're not dead yet" I heard a voice say. Frightened of their presence and their statement, I turned my head around to see Lucy. "What?" I asked worriedly. "What was the last thing you remember?" She asked me ignoring my question. "Cloroform" I replied cautiously. "Oh sweetie, that wasn't chloroform, that was poison." Shocked, I asked her how old she was. "6" she answered smiling innocently.
