Arranged marriage to a nerd ... Maybe not a nerd

Chapter one

Hi my name is Elizabeth Ross Clarkson I'm the daughter of Emma and Richard Clarkson the ones that own a billion dollar company that runs their life they are never home they even missed my 17th birthday and on top of that I have a secret that keeps me company when I'm lonely and sad. And my secret well I'm the "Mask" the one that takes care of the bad guys , save people from harm and last and not least I'm undercover I may look like a nerd but I'm not.

It's Saturday morning and my alarm goes of its 8:30 in the morning.  Mourning not wanting to get out of my warm comfortable bed but the I get a text message from by best friend Jason to go to HQ.

I went to my walk in closet and at the back of my closet is a secret passage way that leads to an underground head quarters that has government information,fighting quarters, science labs, weapons and anything you can think of . As I walk into the lab I see Jason smiling as I walk in
" Hey Jason" I said as I walked in
" Good Morning sleepy head" he replied
" What you go for me " I asked he turns to look at the computer
" I have some information about a prisoner from ADX Florence escaping with some help from a group of men, then the next day their was a robbery in the jewellery shop in the city " he said their was only one jewellery shop in the city Maggie's jewellery shop "
I  looked at the computer which showed us who escaped
" Carl Serinto , arrested for murder, abuse ,rape and robbery
Wow he is wanted for a lot of stuff and is dangerous track him down text me when you track him" I said as Jason turns to the computer replies " on it boss!!!  oh and ...... don't forget your parents are coming to see you today their flight just landed 3 minutes ago " I heard him say as I walked out of the lab.

I got the files to study Carl's profile to see what I could find about him out of curiosity. As I finished reading his file I walked back to my room and then I hear my parents coming into the house as I go to my computer I see through the surveillance cameras that they just walked in if you want to know I have more than 200 cameras in this house that is invincible to everyone but not to me I could walk through the whole house and point out where the cameras are.

As I walk down the stairs I see my mother walking out of the kitchen as she sees me she miles and have me a hug " Well ,hello sweetly How are you doing ? And can you please get rid of those ugly looking glasses and look at the clothes you are wearing ,ehhh !!! they need to go to the bin you look like an ugly nerd that just walked out of the garbage bin"
she said yep that's mum she is so judgmental she always wanted a daughter that loves dresses, the colour pink and all those girly stuff but nope I'm into boys stuff that's why I get along with my cousins John, Jack , Ethan and Charlie my other cousins hates me and my mother always asks me why in the world I can't be like my cousin Delilah but I just ignore her. My father just gave me a kiss and hug then left the room as his phone rang he walks upstairs to his room while my mother continues to be a judgmental critical mother I just ignored her as I went to the kitchens and got my favourite breakfast Nutella bread with milo then an apple as I get that ready my mothers still talking to me about how I shouldn't eat Nutella how I'm going to get fat and ugly as she walked out of the room I just let out a sigh and in my mind I partying ' I survived my mother ' i never had a good relationship with my parents as you can see.

Evening

It was 7:00 and that when we always have dinner and as we were eating my father stops eating and puts his fork down and looks at me then my mother does the same the only thing that is going through my mind is
' WHAT IS GOING ON' my father then begins to speak and says
" Elizabeth we have good news your getting married well,  your having an arranged marriage "
That's when all hell broke loose I wanted to punch something , hit someone , shoot something but I couldn't move.
For God sakes I'm only 17 and all I can hear is my mum squealing and I just continued eating until my mum started to talk about wedding details and the only thing that went through my mind is ' what's going to happen ,what if I don't like him ,what if he finds out about my secret ' as we finished dinner the door bell rang I went upstairs as my mother answered the door I brought out my phone to see who was at the door yeah I can access the cameras on my phone and I see a guy he looks like he was 19 and he is cute but I don't usually think of those things I examine like how tall are they , do they look suspicious stuff like that .Behind him was an old couple looks like his parents as my mother calls me to come downs I shouted " in a minute" I walked down stairs and I see the old couple and the young guy in the living room they all stood up as I entered the living room " Elizabeth meet Jesse and his parents Ethan and Christina Hawker" my father introduces me too them I shake their hand as we sat down my father was about to talk about the arranged marriage when my phone went off it was Jason who was calling I have specific ringtone for him its NCIS theme song my mother looked at me like in her head she was criticising me and looking disappointed. I excused myself as I get up and I answered the phone
" Hey Jason what you got for me " I said Jason replied
" I found him he was a hard one to find he is good at not leaving tracks behind and I went through his files too and I studied his background he is ... " as he was about to continue talking I cut him off as I walk upstairs so my parents and Jesse and his parents won't hear me
" 37 years old has a 9 year old daughter called Emily Serinto and was married at the age of 20 his family was involved in gangs he killed his wife because she found out he was involved in a ruthless gang plus the gang was threatening to kill her so he killed his wife instead and from then on everything is history " I said I hear Jason laugh
" yep that's all right your a fast one I studied that for the whole day and you saw the files 2 hours ago I envy you " I laughed.
" it's because I'm better than you face it Harrison you know it " I laugh as I say that
" ok have to go I'll text you the location where he is at bye " I end the call then I go downstairs and I sit down then dad begins to talk
" ok then as I was going to say before but I was interrupted " he turns to me
" your mother and I are worried about you Elizabeth you live in this house alone for months and we want you to have some company and life long company so we planned an arranged marriage with Jesse so if you would like" he turns to look at Jesse
" you could go up to Elizabeth's room and talk and how do you kids say it ? Hangout and get to know each other as I speak to your parents Jesse" as I get up I lead Jesse up stairs and into my room then I speed up to get to my room first just to make sure I don't have anything I don't want him to see as I look at my room everything looks good I smile to myself then I see Jesse come in
" Hi " I said I smile slightly and then my phone buzzes and I sigh as I check it I see its from Jason its the location of Carl I so want to go and beat him up but I can with Jesse here I put my phone away
" do you have a boyfriend or something because your phone has gone off a few times and it's starting to bug me " he says but the last few words he said will rudeness
" Oh so he speaks " I replied
" and what goes on with my social life , who I speak to is none of your concern " I said
" Feisty that's what I like but then the clothes they don't impress me and do you always wear baggy clothes and I think you could go to the gym to tone up " he said I just hit the roof I wanted to get my knife out of my pants to cut his throat but I composed myself and mentally said in my mind ' breath in and breath out '. That's all I could do to keep me from doing something I will later regret doing.

" I don't care what you think of me but we are just going to make two thing clear you stay out of my way and I'll stay out of yours and when my parents or your parents are in the room we act like we are a love sick couple . Deal?" I said not caring what he wants Jesse nods his head
" Deal" he replied hallelujah we finally agree on something
So from then on for that night we just sat down and did things on our phones I kept my eye on Carl and did more research while Jesse played angry birds.
