Monster

An: This is a Sophie x Tam story. I am not sure what this ship is called! This takes place when Sophie and her crew and Level 7 at Foxfire.

After school, Tam doesn't leave right away. He usually sits in the library, immersed in his own thoughts, the silence soothing for his aching mind.

But today, he wasn't alone.

Sophie, his first friend and his current girlfriend, was crying her heart out before he even got there.

Tam sat down next to her rubbing her back as her sobs faded into hiccups and whimpers, waiting for her to tell him what was wrong.

"Tam," she sniffled, still avoiding eye contact, "Am I a monster?"

"No. If you were a monster, then you wouldn't be my beautiful girlfriend, sitting next to me right now."

He wasn't one to joke around, especially when others were sad. But the idea of Sophie being a monster was a ludicrous one.
