"Hey, did you hear the new professor is joining today."

"What's the big deal, everyone knows that since professor Ming retired someone was bound to come in his place."

"Will you let me complete, i was about to say she is young."

"Really, that's a news now."

"But how is it possible, either she must be excellent in Psychology, or she must have had some top notch connections. We haven't had any young and unexperienced professor since Professor kim and before him it was decades if you check alumni."

"I know i still remember how Mrs Shin gave that speech on our orientation day telling us how they provide the best to us and so in return want the best from us, can never forget it even if i want too dude, her voice creeps me out even at midnight."

"But Mrs. Shin how could you do that i don't see any sign in her portfolio that she is some genius and can live upto this university' standards. She even graduated from a low key university herself and has what a two year diploma from USA, was this the sole reason to hire her?"

"First of all Professor Kim you too fall in this category except for your graduation from yale, you too didn't have any experience but i hired you why because your uncle is the one who owns this university and he calls the shots."

"Don't tell me she is my illegitimate cousin then, i know she is not why are you hiring her?"

"Some things don't show on portfolio Mr. Kim you have to see it with your own two eyes and i have witnessed her potential, and by the way you are talking i think you know her from the two year teaching diploma you did too in USA and that too same year batch?" she opened the file
"Oh no you were her senior, so my assumption is some bad blood between you or is she a threat in terms of talent to you but inferior in connections so you despise her?"

'Why doesn't she take on psychology herself, i think she would do the best, its like she can read my mind or something.' "Fine do whatever you want, you are the head after all."

"Thanks for reminding me, it makes me think i am too liberal just to you must be because of your connections right?"

The man left the dean's room with a loud thud of door bang.

She stood there feeling the wind blow her hair all over her face peeking out of her head cover and this experience made her rethink her choice of growing her hair, maybe they were better off short. She made her way to the washroom pulled out her hair band and tied them loosely so as to not get a headache later covering her hair again in the cloth.

It felt nice, she was now here after enjoying fully in US for two years, she was here getting her not so dream job but a job she could be proud of and maybe her parents too, she was going to be a professor in the most well renowned university in Seoul.

She dragged her luggage getting into a taxi to get to the university, she really liked the idea of free accommodation to staff of university inside the university, saves her from the hassle of driving in the rushy area full of frustrated people ready to curse you cause they they didn't wake up on time.

Reaching the university she spotted many students roaming the campus, it made her remember how fun it used to be when she was in university, 'Those were the days' it was the perfect phrase to describe them.

She dragged her luggage with her hands looking for a student who was neither a bully nor too shy to talk so she can inquire where to go.

"Excuse me, where is dean's office?" she asked one of the four girls which gave the friendly vibe. The girl helped her with directions and she finally reached her destination to see someone familiar coming out of the very place she wanted to go. He was boiling from head to toe, so typical of him and before she could even surprise him he stormed off to somewhere god knows again so typical of him.
