Chapter 78 we miss you

The hybrid boy was now back on his previous spot with malivore.

The mud man looked at him and saw something he didn't like.

''what happened to you?''. ''huh?'', the boy asked clueless. ''I can literally see that something happened to you, so quit with the clueless act and tell me''.

Nick rolled his eyes at him. ''it's none of your business'', he replied at the mud man.

This was enough for him to take his bare hands and grab the boy with much force.

''let me ask you again'', he said now being more angrier. ''what the hell happened?''. The boy didn't budge like the last time. He was sick of being tossed around.

He took malivore's hand and removed it from his grip on him.

He took a hold on malivore and smashed him into the grass. ''better watch it old man. Wouldn't want to see your human body getting injured''.

Malivore scoffed at him and got out of his grasp and stood up. He looked at the hybrid.

''next time you should let me be and that won't happen''. ''fine don't tell me. I don't care as it doesn't jeopardize our plan''.

Nick huffed at him. ''relax it won't. As long as I'm in control'', he whispered the last part only for him to hear. ''what did you say?''. ''nothing''.

Malivore rolled his eyes at the boy. He didn't waste any more time with him.

He began to say something, then out of nowhere came monsters.

Nick looked at all of them and felt disgusted by most. He felt he saw the necromancer among them, but when he looked one more time he was gone. Nick didn't like that one bit. He thought he was seeing things again.

''shake it off you son, whatever that's bothering you. Now the show must begin''.

They all began to walk towards the Salvatore school's direction, except Nick. He stood there felling this wasn't right. He quickly shook the feeling away and started walking.

The students at the school were already standing there, ready for what's to come.

Hope was besides Alaric. ''you know I'm sorry about the spell and leaving you out. I thought you were serious about killing Nick. I didn't stop to think you were somehow controlled by malivore''. The headmaster looked back to his student. ''I understand Hope. It's not your fault. He took advantage of us when we were on our lowest''.

''dad they're coming'', Lizzie yelled. ''everyone on their position now'', the headmaster yelled. Everyone listened and went to their position.

''Hope are you sure you want to do this? I mean I understand if you want to step back'', Ric asked his student. ''I'm sure and there is no way in hell I would have backed out. Even if I wanted to I couldn't''.

''well, you should have little tribrid'', the voice of malivore came in sight.

They looked right ahead of them and saw the army, but no sign of Nick nor malivore.

''looking for me I see, or a special hybrid I presume'', they heard again. ''come out you bastard, or are you a coward?'', Jed yelled to get his attention.

''brave wolf aren't you, Jedediah? Well, I guess it's time for my close up''.

Malivore came out of nowhere and was in the middle of his army and the students of the Salvatore school.

He was smiling at them. ''well, well. Didn't I tell you this day was to come. Aren't I right, Nicholas?''.

The hybrid came out from the army that was shielding him, for his big entrance.
