Panic Attack

An: This is a Sophie x Keefe (sokeefe) story.

Sophie was in the middle of her Telepathy session, and her and Fitz were practicing emotions. They read of a list of emotions, and based off of the first image that flashed through their mind regarding that emotion, the other person would try to guess it.

Sophie's list contained of:
Excited
Happy
Calm
Loved
Scared

They got through the first four easily. But when they got to scared, Sophie's mind couldn't decide on a single memory, so instead , it played at least 10, if not more memories at once.

"What the..." Fitz said, in reaction to the multitude of scary memories. He felt like he was being tugged in many directions, none of which good.

Sophie was starting to have a hard time breathing. He mind overwhelmed with the pain that each memory had brought to her.

When Tiergan and Fitz realized that Sophie was having a convulsing panic attack on the floor, it was too late. She was already screaming and crying. Her body shivering in spasms as her vision got blurry.

Tiergan was sprinting to the healing center, with a convulsing, shuddering, Sophie Foster in his arms. Fitz was right on his heels as they barged through the door, taking Elwin by surprise.

Immediately after assessing the situation, Elwin sat Sophie on a bed, rubbing her back in slow circles.

"These types of things only happen when someone is re-exposed to previous traumatic experiences. Did you guys do anything that might have caused her to relive the pain of past incidents?" Elwin asked.

"Yeah." Fitz replied, knowing elaborating was useless.

"Well, the only thing that will really help is something to make her calmer."

Keefe ran down the hallway immediately after his mentor had told him that Sophie needed him in the healing center.

When he got there, he saw Sophie rocking back and forth while hyperventilating of one of the cots.

"Oh Sophie," he cooed, having experience calming het down before. "It will all be alright."

He snuggled with her on the bed, muttering reassuring words while kissing her face gently.
