Saradha sighed as she eyed Sivaangi who twisted the green peas pod and opened it before putting the green peas beads into a bowl. She then eyed Ashwin who was busy with his laptop. 

Ashwin and Sivaangi came to Pollachi yesterday. Normally Saradha would be overjoyed whenever her son and daughter-in-law visits her but yesterday, she noticed something between the duo.

From the time Saradha was introduced to Sivaangi, she knows this one thing. Sivaangi can't stay away from Ashwin. She would stick to him most of the time give whoever else be there. She demands his attention the most. Ashwin does the same. They both would be in their own world when they were together.

From last day Saradha observed Sivaangi. She didn't pay much attention to Ashwin. Yes, they do talk. So, fight between the couple is out of the option. But she felt something off; something she couldn't put her finger on. 

Because if everything is normal then Sivaangi wouldn't have sat next to Saradha and work silently. Either she would have spoken cheerfully sitting next to her or she would have taken everything with her and sat next to Ashwin, talking to him animatedly about something. In short Sivaangi being silent concerned her.

"Sivaangi?" Saradha called softly.

"Sollunga athai" Sivaangi looked up at Saradha.

"Yenna achu da? Yean amaidhiya iruka? Odambuku yedhuvum pannudha? Ila avan yethuvum thitnan ah? Yenna achu?" Saradha asked as she caressed Sivaangi's head.

"Apdilam onum ila Athai. Nalla dhan iruken" Sivaangi replied giving a small smile to Saradha and added, "Morning vegame endhrichuten la. Adha lite ah tired ah iruku. Vera onum ila"

"Tired ah? Apo idha vai, nee poe paduthuko. Na kurma vachutu una elupi viduren" Saradha said.

It was nearly six and Sivaangi didn't want to sleep. So, she refused, "Parava ila athai. Irukatum. Ipo padutha aprm night thookam varadhu"

"Adhuvum seri dhan. Nee idha vai. Koncham fresh agitu va. Na unaku paal um snacks um eduthu vaikuren. Saptu nee um avanum apdiye oru walk poetu vaanga. Koncham fresh ah irukum"

Saradha didn't give space for Sivaangi to deny. She sent Sivaangi to their room and walked up to her son.

"Dei" Saradha placed her hand on Ashwin's shoulder who looked up as he removed his airpods.

"Maa?"

"Ashwin, fresh agitu va. Snacks eduthu vaikuren. Sivaangi ah apdiye veliya kuptu poetu va"

"Maa irutura neram aaga pogudhu. Inneram enga Maa kuptu poga?" Ashwin folded his laptop.

Their house is at the outer of Pollachi and in a remote area.

"Yengayachum kutitu po da. Yenna nu therla. Oru mathiri irundha. Keta thookam varudhu nu sonna. Asadhiya irukkum pola"

"Asadhiya iruku nu sonna la?" Ashwin frowned slightly.

"Ama da. Ahh aprm Ashwin, kekanum nu nenachen da. Ongaluku edhuvum sandai ah ila avala ethachum thittuniya?" Saradha asked.
