Imogen
A mouth later
So it was official. I was no longer a student at St Sliverworms.
And.
Thank.
Fuck.
For.
That.
Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry here I come.
My drifted to thoughts of Leo as Hermione and I took a slow stroll through the crowded streets of Diagon Alley to The Leaky Cauldron as our heavy trunks trailed across the cobbled ground.
Was he going be ok without me? If he anything happened to him because of our horrid parents I would never for forgive myself for leaving him behind.
But I promised to owl him nearly everyday now that I've brought myself a dark brownish Owl which is yet to be named as of now.
"Are you excited about attending Hogwarts?" Hermione beamed guarding her new pet Crookshanks like a protective parent as he laid his large ginger furred body on top of her trunk.
I frantically nodded coming out of my trance. "Yeah, Mione I'm. But I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about going to a new school and all"
Hermione agreed as Crookshanks let out a little purr. "I can completely understand where you're coming from, Imogen" She paused "But I think you'll fit right in at Hogwarts and I know for sure that Harry and Ron will love you as much I do"
"Oh, Mione are you too kind" I beamed placing my hand upon my chest while I blinked my eyes and pouched my lips together like a lost puppy. "From what you've been telling me Harry and Ron seem nice"
Hermione chuckled. "Well they can be nice and also irritating at times but they the best pair of friends I could ask for and that also includes you as well"
"Aww thanks, Minone" She and I linked arms and skipped together as we finally arrived at The Leaky Cauldron. Crookshanks leapt off Hermione's trunk as he loudly meowed in the direction of a bright red haired boy holding his scrappy brown rat in the palm of his hands for dear life.
Hermione ran after him in a panic."Crookshanks, leave Ronald's rat alone!" She bellowed at the top of lungs. Ronald replied scoffing. "He has a name you know, Hermione!"
And this is where the pair of them began to have a full on screaming match in front of the whole pub.
It was best that I didn't involved. So I stood and watched for my own pure entertainment.
A boy who looked be around thirteen was dressed in casual clothing. He had dark raven hair and wore glasses and had a scar of a lighting bolt on the front of his forehead. Wandered down the stairs curving an amused smile across his lips.
Trying his ever so best not to burst out laughing.
"What the fuck is up with those two?" I wondered staring at the boy from the stairs who against the cobbled wall nonchalantly folding his arms over his chest.
"You'll get used to them arguing like an old married couple once in a while" He chuckled. "It's basically they daily routine to brag at each other's throats nearly every few seconds of the day"
I let out a soft chuckled. "I guess so if you put that way I suppose" The boy hand extended his out politely to greet me. "Hi I'm Harry, Harry Potter. What's your name?"
"I'm Imogen, Imogen Milton" I shook his hand without hesitation beaming from ear to ear. "It's quite a pressure to finally meet you, Harry"
He let go of my palm as a small grin came across his face. "Likewise, Imogen" Harry's attention drew back to his argumentative best friends. "Likewise. Let's hope you can properly met Ron. Because if Hermione's get way she may end up making me vomit slugs again"
I glazed at Harry completely bewildered by his remark. "What the fuck!?" I nearly raised my voice in pure shock. "Oh don't worry" Harry quickly reassured me. "Well I guess that Hermione never told you about that"
"No, Harry" I nodded. "She did not" Harry awkwardly smiled to smoothen the situation.
"I'll tell you more about that later"
