They always tell,

“Get out of your shell.”

When you speak your mind

They turn deaf and blind.

Appear to be feeble

They will throw every pebble.

Act like you’re strong

They will brand you wrong.

They laugh at what you wear

Because they say they care.

A smirk pasted on their lips

As they bury you deep.

It’s not enough that you’re drowning

They'd rather see you not living.

They would even blow a kiss

As you fall into the abyss.

Honesty is their fuel

They speak casually cruel.

They love to put on a show

But what do they know?

Flout their words

And live your world.

As rubbish as rubble

They are unworthy of the trouble

You are nobody’s double.

Sweep away the blue

The shame is on them, not on you.

Feel free to reveal your hue

Attest that you are true

After all, you are you.

Be happy. Be who you want to be.

If others don't like it, then let them be.

Happiness is a choice.

Life isn't about pleasing everybody.
