(As established in the last movie, Aquaman is the King of Atlantis, and he has to make decisions with the seven other kingdoms for the greater good of Atlantis with different members attacking Atlantis. Aquaman has to do what is right and stop this tension from happening, which, of course, is coming from the surface)
NOTE: I know Aquaman is a part of the Justice League originally and in the real life movie and in the DCEU but since this isn't any of those, I'm going to keep Aquaman and if I plan on bringing in Shazam, him too. In its own corner of this universe.
I'll also say that Aquaman decided he needed to keep his kingdom safe so he left the Justice League as another starting on point
