The Way It Should Be

C h a p t e r 2

Lina's pov:

I woke up and I was pressed up against Aaron and his arms were wrapped tight around me. His face was pressed into my hair.

I couldn't resist the urge to kiss his lips so I did.

He squirmed and pulled me closer to him. He kissed back and parted my lips. I sighed into his mouth. He tasted like peppermint and the alcohol from last night.

He pulled away first. "Mm baby can I wake up like that every morning?" I pouted. "Nope."

He nipped at my ear with his teeth. "No? What do you mean no?" He kissed the pout from my lips.

I tried so hard not to smile probably like a maniac. "I mean no, why should only you wake up like that?"

He held my gaze and pulled me flush against him. "I'm sorry, does Lina want to wake up to kisses too?"

"Yes she does." I moved to the other side of the bed and faced away from him. I immediately regretted it missing his warmth and the safe feeling he gave me.

He gently grabbed my hand. I wanted to keep messing with him but I didn't know how much longer I would make it. "Poor love, come here." He pulled me into his arms, my back pressed against his chest.

I only made it a moment longer before I turned and buried my face in his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. I felt him smile and inhale calmly.

I felt him start sucking lightly on my neck. "Cariño like I said last night I don't think you should be doing that."

He growled in my ear and kissed me deeply. "No I want everyone to know that you're mine Catalina Martín, mía."

I cupped his face in my hand and ran my thumb across his cheek. "Yes guapo I'm yours and you're mío."

He kissed me again and parted my lips with his tongue. I tasted his mouth liberally until my alarm went off. I slowly pulled away to turn it off and he pulled me back burying his face in my hair.

"Babe I have to get up. I'm meeting with my sister soon. Charo is driving you."

He whimpered and held me close. "I know osito but you'll see me later. Just get some sleep and it'll be here before you know it."

I tried to get out of bed but he pulled me back. "Aaron." He shook his head. "No and how am I supposed to sleep now that I know what it's like to do so with you in my arms? How am I supposed to sleep without you?"

I looked at the clock in my phone. I still had a hour and a half before my sister was picking me up. I only had to shower so the whole reason why I set an alarm so early was because I figured I'd want to get away from Aaron as soon as possible but now, now it couldn't be further from the truth.

I turned an alarm on for 45 minutes later and snuggled back into him.

He sighed. "Hmm but I thought you had to get up to meet with your sister."

I kissed him. "Well I'm still here aren't I?"

He kissed my neck. "Yes. Good thing to because I thought I might of had to start whining." I rolled my eyes at this.

"Like a puppy dog?" He kissed me softly. "Yes, like a puppy dog who misses its person."

I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer.

"I'm going back to sleep." I said sleepily. He kissed my forehead. "Ok beautiful." He cuddled me back into his arms and I laid my head on his chest. He kissed my head again. "I love you Lina." I smiled and kissed his lips. "I love you Mr Robot." I heard him laugh.
